This is day 2's sketch for VGM Academy's 7 day challenge. Firstly, I give thanks to God for the gift of being able to create such works. This is a character creation theme. I was kind of going for a fun punchy vibe to get the player excited and moving... Although now I wonder if it's a bit TOO upbeat. Hmm, well anyway, this is what came out.

"Liza’s Last Stand" is the hymn of the night when a child dared to remain standing against cruelty. Through tears and blood, Liza raised her arms in the shape of a cross against corrupt men, holding within her fragile body a force far greater than her age. Her magic, shaped since childhood by her father Vertere’s teachings of self-defense, found in pain and loss the channel that made it overflow — a silent cry transformed into power.

Each chord of the song carries the weight of her struggle: fear turned into resistance, innocence breaking into fury, a flame that burns even when the wind grows stronger. ‘Liza’s Last Stand’ is not only about the battle against Gregor and William, but about the very moment when Liza became more than Vertere’s daughter — she became a symbol of defiance and courage against the darkness.

This song expresses the events described in the chapter Echoes of Sihr – Part 2 – In the Name of the King.
