The Prog-Rock-Alternative band COURT started in 1990, four album and two singles (included in prog compilations) has been released. The music filters progressive, folk and ancient music, generating a new & original sound.

Gashouse Radio is thrilled to announce the addition of its brand new show "The Rotation", a talk show based on a mixture of opinions, music, and comedy.  The show will be broadcast every Wednesday night at 10 p.m. beginning August 15th.  
  
The Rotation is headed by Brian Gallagher a fixture on Gashouse Radio through his past work as Producer & Co-Host on various Gashouse shows.  
 He started his radio career at 610 WIP as an intern, where he worked his way up to Associate Producer to Angelo Cataldi &The Morning Show, the #1 sports morning show in Philadelphia, PA.  He left Philly this past december to take on his new role as Board Operator for SiriusXM's Mad Dog Sports Show. 

The Rotation will also feature Gale Pauly a Photographer, Videographer & Promoter who has spent the past decade traveling the United States expanding his mind through creative outlets. In 2011, after spending the last 2 years in San Francisco capturing and promoting events and covering the local music scene, he continued his travels driving across country to New York City.  Pauly now resides in Brooklyn working as an Events & Media Consultant.

Rounding up the trio of hosts is Audio Engineer & Music Consultant, Scott Graham.  Originally from Mechanicsburg, PA, Graham moved to NYC in 2010 to pursue a career in the music industry.  He has spent the last few years building relationships within the local music scene with a focus on providing online solutions for independent artists.  He has extended this focus recently by launching his own venture, Epic Anthem Marketing & Media.  Even more recently, Graham has been expressing his musical interests writing for music blog Music Without Labels.

The three crossed paths meeting through mutual friends and built on their common interests decided they should start working together creatively.  After working on several projects together, Gallagher came up with the idea for "The Rotation", approached Gashouse with the idea, and "The Rotation" was born!  

"After moving from Philly to New York and us all meeting, I knew I needed to work with these guys.  And the best place for it was Gashouse Radio.  I couldn't be happier to be back!" Gallagher commented. When approcahed about the show Pauly said few words but joked "We are pretty excited, but other people are more excited".  

The show will be a series of discussions on topics ranging from current events and politics to music and movies, and include sketches, parodies, and pranks to match.  The show will also feature a weekly spot from Graham's Epic Anthem Marketing & Media, in the form of a band/artist showcase, interviewing the artists, and playing new releases in order to give up-and-coming artists a media outlet to promote their music, and at the same time give our listeners a new way to discover great music.   In addition to the showcasing of music talent, "The Rotation" will feature special guests on a weekly basis.

MACH BELL - LEAD SINGER
Mach Bell was born in Yellow Springs, Ohio. He moved east to Holliston MA. and studied the cello as a child, later picking up the guitar. His early influences were Liberace, Leonard Bernstiein and later, the Yardbirds.  In 1968 he saw his first concert, The Jimi Hendrix Experience at the Carousel tent in nearby Framingham.
Mach had already started playing lead guitar and occasionally singing back up with various dance combos: the Mechanical Onions (1966), The Effective (1966) and The Cynics (‘67), followed by Black Sun (‘68), Love It or Leave It (‘69), Joe Flash & the Screamin’ Ya Ya Girls (‘70-’71) and the Piggies (‘72).
At an outdoor Piggies show on the green in downtown Holliston, Bell was filling in on vocals for his ailing singer. After the set Bell was approached by drummer Bobby Edwards who asked Mach to front his heavy-rock trio, Biggy Ratt, not as guitarist but as a lead singer. Bell made the switch to vocals and Biggy Ratt played the local bars and high school dance circuit for two years (‘72,‘73). In early ‘74 Mach, now 21 years old, split the quartet and headed to California where he hoped to make a name for himself in Hollywood.

In the summer of 1974 Mach was summoned back east by drummer Bobby who had teamed with the Provost Bros and New Bedford’s Steven Silva to form the glam-rocking Thundertrain.  The boys all took over a house in Framingham just across the way from the old Carousel tent where Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix used to play. Before long Thundertrain were appearing regularly on the stages of Boston’s Rat, CBGB's, Max's Kansas City and Cleveland’s Agora Ballroom.
The band initially released two singles “I’m So Excited”(‘75) and “Hot for Teacher!”(‘76) which rose to #2 in the British Top10 alternative charts.
Thundertrain followed up that success in 1977 with the album “Teenage Suicide”(Jelly Records). The band was also included on the compilation lp “Live at the Rat”(Rat Records) released that same year.
Thundertrain were written up in Rock Scene, Sounds, Variety, NME, Playboy and the Boston Globe. 16 magazine frequently spotlighted Thundetrain and “18 year old” Mach. Thundertrain even found themselves prominently mentioned in a Time magazine 1977 cover story introducing "Punk Rock" to the world.

In his book “The Sound of Our Town”(Commonwealth Editions) author Brett Milano recalls, “Thundertrain also made an inadvertent bit of rock history. Given the chance to open for the future arena stars Van Halen in Connecticut, they sent VH management a copy of their single, a song well known in Boston at the time: “Hot for Teacher!” A few years later, Bell bought Van Halen’s latest album and saw that they too were “Hot for Teacher”- they wrote a different song, but with the same title and idea. “I can’t say they stole our song, but we did send it to them,” Bell points out. “Though I should mention that our guitar player, Steven Silva, who wrote that song, took it from a pulp-fiction book he got at a yard sale.”

The remaining line up, minus guitarist Silva, became the more pop oriented "Hits", scoring radio play on WBCN and WCOZ with their dramatic demo “Storm Brewin.” 
Mach then took a major break from music and joined the circus. Circus Vargas was a traveling three-ring show with 10 elephants and an immense five-pole tent. Bell signed on as a roustabout in Yuma AZ. Eventually working his way into the center ring, helping out in the dog act, leading a llama in the circus parade and occasionally riding a unicycle. Bell was eventually fired after creating a ruckus in the tent at the Circus Vargas annual Hollywood Bowl appearance.
By 1981 Bell was back in Boston singing and once again playing guitar with the new wave power-trio Mag 4 releasing “Mag 4 Go Monte Carlo”(Pure and Easy Records).

In February 1982 Bell was asked to audition for future Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Joe Perry. Joe had formed his own band after quitting Aerosmith in ‘79, but his lead vocalist Charlie Farren had just split the Joe Perry Project to start his own group.
In the Aerosmith autobiography "Walk This Way"(Avon Books) lead guitarist Joe Perry writes "My new singer Cowboy Mach Bell was a rock 'n' roll guy who grew up in the town over from me, Holliston MA, and had a group called Thundertrain. He loved to rave and be in a band..."
Working alongside Joe (who nicknamed Bell “Cowboy”), Mach wrote a stack of songs, seven of which made it onto their lp  “Once a Rocker, Always a Rocker” (MCA). Circus magazine hailed "Once a Rocker, Always a Rocker", the Joe Perry Project's 1983 release as "One of this years best hard rock albums."
The Toronto Star wrote "Mach Bell is a leather voiced singer in the Bon Scott mold who is more than willing to take the center stage spotlight."
Bell &  Perry  toured continuously for over two years, playing nearly 300 concerts together. On several road trips their lineup included Joe’s fellow Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford and Aerosmith’s Joey Kramer filled in on drums on several occasions.
The JPP played at scores of venues including NYC’s Bottom Line, the New England Dragway, Toronto’s El Macombo, the Agora Ballroom circuit, the Hollywood Palace,  Pocono Downs Speedway, Montreal Spectrum and the Poliedro Arena in Caracas Venezuela.
Mr. Bell's stint with the Project occasionally caused controversy. The liner notes of "The Best of the Joe Perry Project - The Music Still Does the Talking" (Raven Records) attest that "If breathless reports of the day are to be believed, a roaring drunk Bell took to periodically parading around in the nude, creating havoc..."

The Joe Perry Project was finally derailed by the reformation of Aerosmith in mid 1984.  Mach quickly assembled the hair-raising Wild Bunch (‘84-’86) that included former members of the Project, New England & Angel and hit the road. The ‘Bunch toured the club and festival circuit in a blue school bus previously owned by a church choir group.
Bell finally quit the band and returned to Hollywood CA in 1987 where he took up residence on the corner of Sunset Strip and Laurel Canyon Blvd. 
In 1989 he wed Julia Channing in London, England at Chelsea Old Church. 

After a prolonged break from the spotlight Bell, who by now had returned east to Marshfield Hills MA, joined forces with Norwood MA guitarist/writer/producer Dave Zolla, launching the acclaimed Last Man Standing. Mach & Dave Zolla, along with bassist Aart Knyff and drummer Jon Gutlon  released the 2001 album “Last Man Standing” (LMS Records) which was called  “superb hard rock played to the hilt"  by the All Music Guide. The music video “Still Dreaming” and a Last Man Standing tour up and down the east coast soon followed.

In 2003 Bell reunited with Thundertrain for a summer tour celebrating the cd re-release of their 70’s nugget “Teenage Suicide”(Gulcher Records). A glowing review from senior editor David Fricke in Rolling Stone magazine followed, spurring still  more press, a follow up album, “Hell Tonite! “(Gulcher Records) and yet another string of Thundertrain reunion shows in 2004.
In his spare time Bell was also doing gigs singing live backgrounds for Columbia recording artist Bleu, appearing at Boston’s Wang Center, the Hatch Shell, Avalon, the Bank of America Pavillion and NYC’s Mercury Lounge.
Also in 2004  Bell launched a popular punk/metal band called Mach 5. The album “Meet Mach 5” (Lawless Records) was released in 2005 but the busy group had to call it quits in mid 2006 after Mach underwent throat surgery.

In March 2012 Mach Bell returned to the stage, regrouping with guitarist Dave Zolla (Last Man Standing) and Zolla’s band Bag O’Nails as lead vocalist.

All of Bell's recordings continue to be re-released internationally. In Japan, Geffen Records recently put out a special 25th anniversary edition of “Once a Rocker, Always a Rocker”and both of the recent Thundertrain cd releases are now distributed in Japan via Captain Trips Records. "Black Velvet Pants" Mach’s MTV video with the Joe Perry Project continues to air on VH1 Classics and Bell pops up regularly in various music books, bootlegs and specials.

Let's talk a bit about my personal life first, before we get into my musical life. I'll even make it all formal for you. Or I'll try to, at least.

Hey Soundcloud! My name is Connor von Rosen, and I am currently 15 years old. I live in a small city in West Michigan, close to Lake Michigan. My hobbies include video games, computer software and software engineering. I have, in fact, learned basic coding online at Codecademy, and have been interested in making games for the PC end of the spectrum for as long as I can remember. I enjoy eating, playing, as well as composing music.  I make music using FL Studio, and plan on sharing it here for all you nice people. I play Trombone and Baritone in my school's marching band, and have been playing Trombone for almost 5 years now. I also play piano recreationally, as well as drums.  A lot of the music you will hear from me will be ambient, chill songs, with plenty of chords from pianos and organs as leads. I listen to plenty of different kinds of music, and try my best not to judge others. Mostly, I listen to techno and house, from artists like Razihel, Savant, Nitro Fun,  and a ton more. I also listen to a bit of rap, from people like Busta Rhymes, Tupac, a bit of Eminem, Twisted Insane, Twista, and Tech N9ne. One last interesting fact about me, I'm good friends with Physixx. Thembela ILLTHABZ Nzuzo –: Being raised in the environment of the Pan Africanist Movement made me realize the importance of ghetto uprising and having some sort of a relationship with your community.ILLTHABZ believe's an action needs to be taken to restore order,meaning it is our full resposbility to set example's in our communities for the sake better enviroments in our black societies & it takes a reliable indivisual,commited,trustworthy & honest for a leader to lead! The disadvantaged backgrounds we hail from should'nt dertemine the future of any generation &'' it takes a tribe to make a village ''so get familiar to the spirit of ''UBUNTU''. Born  @Butterworth hospital in the 80"s and raised in the former Transkei early 90's till late 90's @Cofimvaba Qamata Nogate township till age 11years & then moved to a lot of different towns/cities to seek proper education,places such as Mtata{Mqanduli),PE.(Uitenhage),Queenstown then Johanesburg.ILLTHABZ was raised by his grandparents before his grandfather who he regarded as a father got shot @late 90's when he was only 11 years old.  Being raised by his grandparents taught him patience and obedience and staying true to oneself and respecting elders.Peace be upon my grandparents & mother!!!

This highly talented individual is one of the founding members of Hip Hop Uplifterz an events management & promotions innitiative that contributed on/to a lot of South African Artists careers mainly hip hop & ILLTHABZ took the matter into his own hands by promoting! Having been exposed to the entertainment industry from the inside, ILLTHABZ is not only a renowned hip-hop artist as well as a dj in his own right, and he brings with him to the team his connectedness to artists all over Africa.  He spent time in Johannesburg researching the state and opportunities within the SA MUSIC INDUSTRY  mainly Hip Hop music & tried to establish himself perfoming around Gauteng province.  After completing his research he discovered that young people don’t have to go to Johannesburg to be successful people.  Additionally, his experience in publishing of music, sound engineering, graphic designing etc provides added value to the growth of the company.


ILLTHABZ returned to his home province to implement his plans, uplift & empower the local arts with relevant active stake holders within the arts.
Thembela ILLTHABZ Nzuzo gained experience from a very young age.He started an initiative named Imbew Hip Hop Movement and a hip-hop magazine together with Ndumiso Mnyani the CEO of Greenlog Graphic Design company based in Port Elizabeth.  
2006 Queenstown's Twisters night club hosted weekly successfull Sessions & Miss BlakRok hosted the activity where local acts/artists show cased their talent & i  hosted guest artists to our town from around the province before hosting artists from outside our province,it  was Grahamstowns(ACALPER)& KWT'S(INTLOKO ZENYOKA)with Gobashev.while doing that ILLTHABZ blessed the P.E crowd@OPRAH HOUSE THEATHER & THE WEEKLY SUCCEFULL HIP HOP SHOW THAT WAS HOSTED BY TRUSENZ@the former CKI now TRU FM.
ILLTHABZ was one of the ambassadors for the successfull Hip-hop shows Ground Zero Hosted by TRUSENZ on the former radio Cki currently known as Tru FM back in 2007,with active artists by the name's INTLOKO ZENYOKA ,BLACKVIOLIN , GOBASHEV ,VIRUS ,MO MONEY etc.Our  contribution gave local/EASTERN CAPE artists a professional platform in the weekly radio show.
 ILLTHABZ  assisted/adviced on a weekly hip-hop show at Vukani Community Radio Station@his hometown Queenstown 2008 by giving advice to potential up coming artists in the CHDM(Chris Hani district municipality) . He was interviewed by HYPE magazine  & APPEARED ON A PANEL WITH FELLOW EASTERN CAPE ARTISTS WHERE WE DISCUSSED ISSUE'S AFFECTING ARTISTS IN OUR PROVINCE &  @Umhlobo Wenene FM’s hip-hop show hosted by Luckeez & produced by YAHKEEM 2009 during a highly publicized album launch of a well known  Eastern Cape duo Intloko Zeenyoka from King Williams Town. In 2010 ILLTHABZ was interviewed by a local radio in Bloemfontein {MOTHEO FM THE ZONE HIPHOP SHOW} hosted by my man KULAX, talking about the challenges we face in the industry.  ILLTHABZ organized in 2009 SEPT a successful fundraising hip-hop event featuring hip-hop artists from around the country and he was part of the CHDM(Chris hani district municipality) Entertainment & Exhibition Committee for Heritage/Tourism Month Celebration 2009.  This event helped kick-start the Hip Hop Uplifterz initiative for social change in communities. This hip hop event helped put the CHDM on the map for tourism attraction.ILLTHABZ cooperated at world AIDS commemoration at mount frere in 2009 with health officials the EASTERN CAPE AIDS COUNCIL, we were mobilizing the youth to be active on sports arts & culture!!The are simple ways of managing to convince corporates to be part of any youth initiative!!!With the experience I have also with the company i own HHU we host an ANNUAL WORLD AIDS MUSIC FESTIVAL in Queenstown & the company also has other annual events during the year such as our HERITAGE & TOURISM event….

”Hip Hop Uplifterz the You and I movement”



Joanna Bulandres also known as Miss Jay was born in November 7th, 1989 in Toronto, Ontario. She was born to Cromwell and Josephine Bulandres of Filipino descent. While other children were out playing games, Joanna stayed home and watched her mother sing in front of her. Her mother, Josie was a fan of mind-blowing artists such as Natalie Cole, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and of course Michael Jackson. At age 3, Joanna became fonder of her mother's singing which led her to actually listen to the CDs herself. Spending hours of listening to every CD, she began singing along and learning the lyrics on her own. Although she could barely read or spell at 4, she was able to deliver the music to family and friends very fantastically. The fact that she memorized every song had shocked anyone who listened to her singing since she was very young. When her father's job in Toronto closed, the family decided to move back to the Philippines where both her parents were born. Once again, Joanna did not hesitate to show her talent in front of new faces, and there was no doubt that they were all blown away by her talent.

During the first few weeks of Grade 1, she was waiting for her father to pick her up from school while the teacher was still in the classroom. She saw her teacher cleaning up so she was kind enough to ask if she needed any assistance and helped her clean the room. While sweeping the floor, Joanna started singing one of Natalie Cole's songs and had her teacher amazed. Her teacher then informed her that there was going to be a talent show coming up and suggested she should join. Joanna was glad to hear the news and agreed to join in a heartbeat.

When the talent show came, she shocked everyone in the school and became known as "The Canadian Singer" since she was the only Canadian citizen in the city also being new to the country. Joanna sang countless times at her elementary school and eventually started performing for other institutions as well. As she grew older, she spent most of her time with her friends however it did not stop her from showing her talent. While she was hanging with friends after school on weekdays, she also had her piano and voice lessons during the weekend. Unfortunately, Joanna despised playing the piano because she found it very difficult but on the other hand, she enjoyed the vocal training. She had also sung for the school choir a few times as well as the church itself. It was not only her mother who inspired Joanna to sing but her father had also encouraged her to engage in other music genres such Worship songs and Country. Altogether, Joanna grew up practising Filipino songs, R&B, Rock, Rap, Christian, Country, and Pop.

As she grew with more variety, more places were asking her to perform for various events. Not only was she a singer but she was also into acting. She won first place for three Declamation Contests during her high school years. When she finished Grade 7, the family decided to move back to Canada for the sake of their children's futures. Ever since she turned 16, she decided to take a break on her singing in order to focus more in school. At 19, Joanna was once again inspired to go back to her music. She started recording on her own using just a personal computer along with a webcam microphone.

The first thing she recorded was a female version of Chris Brown’s hit single, “Run It” which also contained her very own lyrics. When Joanna showed it to some friends, they were amazed at how great she sounded and couldn’t believe it was their friend singing. After hearing great feedback from most, she decided to create her own Myspace music page where she can post all of her tracks, also nicknaming herself Miss Jay. A few weeks after joining Myspace, her hits were increasing and countless local artists began to contact her. Others would also have her songs on their page to show support for her as an artist. Her page was a success but unfortunately, once again, she lost time for the music due to her college studies.

During that time, Joanna thought that it may be the end of her music days until one day when her parents suggested she should join the choir. At first she was hesitant to do so but she eventually did. After joining the choir and singing beautiful songs, she grew to appreciate it a lot and was thankful that she joined. A few weeks after, the choir’s co-director, Robert Dacpano, also known as DJ Duck (Latin DJ), asked her to sing a few lines of Justin Bieber’s hit single “Baby” to hear the quality of her voice. Without hesitating, she sang to him right away while he accompanied her with his guitar. The mix of her voice and his guitar skills sounded great. He was impressed by what he heard and asked if they can record a Bachata remix of the song. She then agreed and recorded the song at his place a few days after.

Their Bachata remix was released at a few clubs in Toronto and eventually became a hit. After that, she was finally asked to perform the track at various venues including Franco Studios, CoZzy Corner, AllyCatz, and Acrobat.

DJ Duck is now promoting Miss Jay as an upcoming local artist as well as working with her as her producer. The two are currently working on her first album with a collection of Bachata remixes and are hoping it will be a great success.

The multi-talented Avelina Rose was raised in California as the second to youngest.  Having four other siblings she understands how fortunate she was to have very supportive parents.  She attended Palos Verdes Peninsula High where she played basketball and studied musical theater.  After high school she attended an advanced theater conservatory and then transferred to Pointe Park University in Pennsylvania to study musical theater and obtained her BFA.

She was bound for greatness.  When she was four years old she remembers hearing Whitney Houston sing “I Will Always Love You”, prompting her to dart through the house shouting to her dad she wanted to be a singer. Her precocious manner always had her as the center of attention whether she wanted it or not.  

As a child she quickly blossomed into a star. Her acting career was on a fast track, starring in roles such as Peter Pan, Westside Story, A Chorus Line, Beauty and The Beast, just to name a few.  Acting became a passion of hers, which she learned would follow her throughout her life. She loves connecting with the audience and with the people she works with on stage, believing it is a way of expressing herself through the art.

Avelina stuns audiences of any size when she belts out a song. She’s a natural born performer.  “When I met her, I was blown away at how she took advantage of the moment.  She has an uncanny knack for seizing an opportunity”, says her manager, X.  She possesses a love for pop music.   Even though her music is fun, crazy, soulful and deep, she always figures a way to inject her thought provoking style into the mix.  Her blend of Katy Perry and Rihanna makes her very interesting to listen to. She says, “For me, music is about connecting with my audience.  I want them to know that I sing with them in mind.  That’s what drives me”

Her mixtape “Rising” is a compilation of covers that were reproduced by her.  It has covers of Katy Perry, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, and more.  Rising will showcase her diversity, creativity and ingenuity. This summer her upcoming album is sure to garner considerable attention.  Her album has a wide appeal with the ability to reach and impact the masses. She’s put a lot of sweat and toil into it. Scream (co-written with Sam Salter and produced by TJ Hooker) the first single of her album has very high expectations.  

Avelina calls herself a dreamer who sees the best in people.  A true gift to the earth, her message is all people are special and should understand their value.  For an artist she has a refreshing humility to her.  She has a love for children, despises bullying, and is quick to aid anyone in need. 

When it’s all said and done, don’t be surprised if you see Avelina Rose somewhere in an urban community teaching a kid how to solve an equation.  It will be easy to find her… You’ll hear her boisterous laugh for blocks.
