Camouflage is an attempt to relate the electroacoustic language with the harmonic musical elements, treated with electronic thinking, and observed in their existence as sound objects. Mimesis is the force upon which the composition is oriented, camouflaging the harmonic materials that emerge from gestures and textures and demonstrate their emotional versatility, that is, how they are able to strike the listener based on the way they relate to each other, between harmonic and non-harmonic spectrum. 
I am drawn to the ability of the organic world to make its way and generate life in unusual, unexpected and inhospitable environments. A reading of reality that I embrace sees life as the source of a whole of which the whole possible is interconnected, which has generated me and us humans living, existing and understanding this feeling. In this view, life is only an expression of a larger and more complex form, and therefore within itself it blurs, it disguises itself, a small torch of pulsating energy in a sea of forms that to our myopia are noise: together they generate reality and the possible.
The harmonic elements in my piece are meant to be the life that teems in the desert of inorganic events, the lifeblood that twists and blends with the concrete.

This is an acousmatic version of a track I composed for a sound installation.
I created a slightly different version, shorter and with more articulation, and I moved sound in space with a 3rd order Ambisonics. This is a stereophonic version.

Scenario possibile (acousmatic version)

Jacopo Casasola (2000) is a musician and composer from Udine, based in Bologna. His activity moves in the direction of acousmatic music, with a particular focus on the relationship between space and sound. 
He is particularly interested in timbre, what sounds can offer in their immediate complexity and internal evolution. Acousmatic music, as well as minimalist and drone music, offer him the cue for an aesthetic based on patient temporal relaxation, capable of allowing to enter 'inside' the sound.
As a musician, he plays electric bass, guitar, rattles and bells, as well as various instruments hybridised with electronic processing.
There is also a strong interest in multimedia, installation art, performance art, theatre, video art, as well as in any hybridisation between sound and other expressive characters, to touch on terrain that is difficult to qualify. 
He is currently attending a two-year course in Sound design at the Giovan Battista Martini Conservatory of Music in Bologna, after graduating from the three-year course in Electronic Music.
