CucaRafa is the artist name of Rafael Lopes, a young 25 year old portuguese producer and DJ who is slowly making a big name for himself.

He has been participating in international projects, either in VA's, or original releases.

His music is a mix between hypnotic techno and vibrant rhythms that takes us back a few years, when the funky and groovy pads were part of the techno scene.

Undoubtedly, we can count on a good musical choice, in which we were trapped from the beginning to the end of their sets, listening to various different styles, but all connected through the energy of this artist.

Grauzone Podcast 024 – Atonism

First invites of 2024 belongs to PS11! His tracks have been great part of my sets, streams and podcasts for a while and so it was only fair to have him on board, and share his awesome creations with the community.  PS11 is the project of Matthew Antico, an upstate NY DJ and producer whose introduction to electronic music began in the mid-90s while living in Los Angeles. After relocating to New York City in 1996, he adopted the alias DJ ELEVEN and soon immersed himself in the NYC underground scene. After a long hiatus, Matt rekindled his passion for music, taking on the name PS11 and dedicating himself to refining his skills as a DJ & producer. PS11’s sound is crafted for the dance floor, weaving a sonic tapestry of evolving synths and layered percussive elements drawing inspiration from his roots in 90s and 2000’s techno.  His debut release landed in October of 2022 on Mastoid Kollektive’s PINK 2 VA, followed by releases in 2023 on labels Chicago Jaxxx, Oneiros Records, E-HRZN Records, EvilGroove Records, ASS3.

Austrian musicians Luca Tresque, Joe Haensn, and Rotary Motion have launched a new underground techno label called Splatter that releases music on vinyl and internet platforms.

Astute musicians like Florian Meindl, JANEIN, Franz Jäger, and Fhase 87 have already been signed to the label.

Daniel Heinrich co-runs Berlin-based Inherit Records, which has included music and remixes by Hadone, Arnaud Le Texier, Insolate, Ferdinger, and others. He is back on Splatter after making an appearance on the launch VA, and also has projects released on Diffuse Reality and Elektrotribe in his own production back catalogue.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Beyond Reality" with a firey, uptempo acid punch. This throbbing missile of energy develops its intensity from a raw groove with modular accents to a gritty and powerful slice of production mastery with the killer vocal hook.
