The Absolute Darlings began as a duo in 1993, when Laura Pocket & Peter Thompson met as buskers on the streets of Barcelona... later back in UK they formed a band. This album represents the later Darlings formation with Laura (vocals/harmonica) Peter (guitar/vocals) John Holmes (bass/vocals) Dave Marsh (electric guitar/other electric things) & other Dave (sir name TBA)(drums). It was recorded by Dave Marsh via two 8 track machines joined together, at his home in Dorchester. The Bournemouth-based band split up in 2004...

Laura & John went on to form 'Glowglobes' (2006-2016)and Peter 'Thirstyman'
Laura now performs in the musical clown duo, 'Rimski & Handkerchief'
