Neotokyo (2021) - A sonic trip to futuristic Japan
"Neotokyo" is heavily inspired by Japanese pop music, 2000s electro house music and 1990s science fiction movies. Playing on a broken piano, the melody came right into my mind. I added some weird effects on it. The sound of the main synthesizer happened by accident and reminds me of a broken shakuhachi flute. The title refers to one of my favourite video games, where the future version of Tokyo turns into a run-down cyberpunk city.
