Love how you phrase the lines with the internal and end rhymes.  Really powerful move.

this is awesome Alan.  goodness you find some beautiful phrases on the piano and it is captivating.  the strings are lush and beautiful and that change where they come in is chilling.  this kind of reminds me of phil collins against all odds or a couple of things genesis did.  really unique and hauntingly beautiful.  just outstanding. you may not consider yourself a piano playER but you can PLAY for sure and even moreso you are a fantastic songwriter as evidenced by this track.  a total keeper.  EPIC ballad.  dont underestimate this one.  album-worthy.

Alan! Immediately I'm drawn in. I know I've said this before but your output from four years ago compared to know shows so much growth... compositionally, vocally, production-wise, and lyrically this is perfect, and radio-ready. I'm gonna say it once more for effect: GREAT SONG. I love how you worked in some cello; you know that's my jam!

Nice work Alan, impressed with the piano whether you consider yourself a player or not. Great diversity this offers you, and I like the direction it took you, its distinctly differerent from your guitar songs.
