Dj dest is known for his passion for spinning selective deep-tech house tunes and also mixing trip-hop, reggae, dub, funk, afro and world music, from downtempo to uptempo, connected with a freestyle live performance with different kind of instruments around the world . He was always interested in many aspects of music such as learning musical instruments (guitar, keyboards, drums) and getting influenced by different styles of music in general.
In 2000 he started to play as a dj at the main beach bars and clubs of his homeland and from 2004-2006 he study Music technology and Sound engineering in Thessaloniki. The following years he spun in many club/bars of that city as Daily bar, Stoa bar, Mylos club, Decadence club, Rocknrolla bar, Block 33, Zenith club.
After finishing his studies, in the summer of 2006, he moved to Mykonos island where he became a resident dj at Bolero bar, Paradise lounge beach bar,  and appeared as guest dj in Aroma bar, 13teen bar, Space club, Radio Paraga beach bar, Queen bar, Pierro's bar/club, Cavo Paradiso club, etc. For two years (2011-2012), with the idea of keeping alive the underground electronic music scene in Mykonos town, he opened and managed Jazmin bar. In summer of 2013, he was resident at Alemagou beach bar, Paradise Lounge, among many others. 
From 2013-2016 he has ben resident dj at Alemagou Mykonos, Cavo Paradiso club and Cooh club Mykonos, also seasonal resident dj at Circus club, Vineyard bar and Aviary rooftop bar (Melbourne AU), during Australian summer. Along, all those years of djing he also had many appearances in London, Casablanca, Bulgaria, Tokyo, etc. In addition, he has played around different parts of  Greece.
Dj dest also appeared with many international well-known dj's and producers as Extrawelt, PanPot, Sven Vath, Damian Lazarus, Nicola Cruz, Holder, Love over Entropy, Bedouin, Francesca Lombardo, Guy Gerber, Maga, Lemurian, Nico stojan, dj Saint, Kevin Yost, Filsonic, Matthias Heilbronn, Kascade, Sidney Charles, Armin.V.Buuren, The mechanism, Edu Impernon,  and many local dj's-producers like Kreon, Mr Static, Nikos Diamantopoulos, dj Booker, Cayetano, Valeron, Kostas Georgoudis, Duke, etc.
In 2015-2016 you could find him at Serbia (Drugstore play club), Melbourne (Vineyard, Circus club), Athens (Faust bar, Pixi club), Thessaloniki (Treehouse bar, Aiglh Bar-resto) and of course in Mykonos at Alemagou Beach Bar-Resto, Cavo Paradiso club.
By 2017 you can find him as a seasonal dj at Alemagou Mykonos and Cavo Paradiso, he is also performing in

Dr Packer is an alias of West Australian Drum & Bass DJ/Producer 'Greg Packer' set up for Remixes & Edits of mainly retro music such as 70's , 80's , 90's Soul , Disco , Funk , Hip Hop & Reggae , Greg although known more for 'Liquid Drum & Bass' regularly plays sets of 'Old School Funk , Disco , Hip Hop Etc' purchasing his first record in 1982 at the age of 10 'Grandmaster Flash - The Message' 

Moving on to the 90's shortly after emigrating to 'Perth Western Australia' greg purchased his first pair of decks in 1989 making this year his 28th year behind the decks , in 1991 he won the WA DMC's and defended the title in 1992 but by this time greg preferred Club Dj-ing and longer sets rather than a 5 minute scratch battle routine... 

Greg then moved onto 'Jungle & Drum & Bass' music in the early 90s and often regarded as a pioneer of that sound in Australia winning many awards and went semi global touring (UK , Europe , Asia , New Zealand & Australia) 

In 1998 Greg took up production and set up his own studio running his own label 'Interphase Music' He produced over 100 tracks & remixes under the name 'Greg Packer' and was signed to many other labels in the UK & USA including LTJ Bukem's  'Good Looking Records'

By 2013 greg began mixing entire sets from CD therefore searching for music online , he started picking up re-edits and he loved the way the original songs were beefed up and sounded fat on a club system but the original vibe was still there , these edits were quantised perfectly meaning you were able to beat mix them flawlessly unlike playing the original vinyl... 

In August 2013 Greg Produced his first two edits under the name 'Dr Packer'  which has caught the attention of labels such as 'Defected / Glitterbox , Z Records , Disco Dat , Hot Digits , Masterworks Music & Midnight Riot' resulting in a number one chart position for every EP release so far on the 'Juno Download sales chart' 

2015 saw 'Dr Packer' take the number one spot on the 'Traxsource Best Nu-Disco Producer' and number 5 for 2016 , he has had the opportunity to officially remix music by artists such as 'Bootsy Collins' and 'Robert Owens' and attack the back catalogs of Simon Dunmore's Defetced label and Joey Negro's 'Z Recordings' 

2016 saw Dr Packer break out globally behind the decks in places such as 'London , Ibiza , Croatia , Scotland ,  Denmark , Germany , Singapore , Bali , Abu Dhabi & all over Australia' playing alongside some heavyweights such as 'Dimitri From Paris , Joey Negro , John Morales , Greg Wilson , LNTG ,  Basement Jaxx , Crazy P , Sonny Fodera ,  Jazzi B (Soul II Soul) Faze Action'
