Rather interesting and I think you are on the right track...

[nostalgic depression] is remembering a time that was no good for you and missing it simply because you no longer exist as that version of you. 
Lately I've been finding myself missing old parts of me, and this project really let me get that out. I have songs on here I created within the first few months of me ever recording, and songs on here that I made last week. If you feel lost out there, and need a space to confide in I hope this can help, because trust me I know what it feels like to be alone.
