RAEA - signed to Streets Music; is a singer-songwriter originally from Birmingham, now doing her thing in London. RAEA learnt to play the piano from a young age and was also classically trained on the cello and clarinet. Moving away from her classical roots, RAEA's catchy pop tracks draw on her experience as a classical musician to give the distinct pop sound she has today; " I just love the versatility and anthemic quality of the piano, I love playing around with melodies or chords on keys first and then bringing a song to life from there. I think the best songs are the ones that hit your emotions even just piano or guitar and voice so I always write so I'm able to play my songs acoustically as well as the fully recorded versions. It has to start from there." 
RAEA stylistically sounds like Christina Aguilera and John Legend moulded into one; with her piano focused pop tunes and powerful and soulful vocals. Live, expect to hear some catchy piano and vocal hooks and some very big vocals!

“I wanted to just start again and do everything without compromise,” begins Meg Mac of the game-changing personal switch-up that led to ‘Matter of Time’: the Sydney-born singer’s incoming third album. 
 
Having recorded and primed a previous ‘third album’ for imminent release, Mac had what she now describes as “a bit of a meltdown”. She scrapped the body of work two weeks before launch and moved to a remote village in the NSW countryside. 'Matter of Time' came into being across 2020 and 2021 and is a document of an artistic redemption of sorts, fleshed out by her most fully-realised sonic and visual palette yet.
 
'Matter of Time' is “how I’ve always wanted to do an album” she affirms, “…knowing when it’s not right, and having the confidence to say so and to take it in a different direction”. “Now for the first time, I really feel in control.”
