Vromm enters the frame, delivering a slick hour of cross-breed techno, breaks and electro; in his signature style shown via his recent release for 2 Bad Mice's Over/Shadow label.

Álvaro Martínez, professionally known as Vromm, is a Spanish producer and DJ born in El Campo de Gibraltar, Cádiz and based in London, UK. Self-taught kid, passionate about airbrush painting and music. 

His family opened Flexo Club, a nightclub in San Roque in 1986 when he was 9 years old where he learned to mix and DJ. He started making music at the age of 13, when there was no access to the Internet. He released his first 12" single in 2000 with his old project DeckAge, incorporating elements of electro, techno, and jungle. 

Vromm's first Ep, Prototype EP, was released in 2014 by Doc Scott on his 31 Recordings label, which was Tune of the Month on Mixmag with a 9/10. 

In July 2017, his second EP published by Critical Music was awarded the Top 10 Best EP by Resident Advisor. Ambassador of the high-end headphone brand Audeze, he has also designed sounds for synthesizers Korg's brand In addition. 

With more music on Craig Richards' The Nothing Special and Om Unit's Cosmic Bridge, Vromm's versatility leads him to change his musical direction on a regular basis.

Skin/Glove is the second LP by Belgian musician Mathieu Serruys, following the release of his B.A.A.D.M. debut On Germaine Dulac back in 2014. Compiled over the course of a fortnight, the record features material recorded over the past five years: creaks of ice buckling under heat, thick hums like nauseating headaches, plumes of evaporated organ hymns, frostbitten crackles of dying tape loops. These disparate sources are unified by the pervasive corrosion of pain and time, which presses into the surface of every sonic object. Melodies splinter under the strain of being pulled apart; drones tremble under the gathering gravity of fatigue; dissonances flicker like candles on the brink of extinguishment. Yet despite the emotional density of the material itself, the process of composition provides a route toward comprehending how these sounds and experiences are connected. Skin/Glove reads as a constellatory map of adversity and grief, beautifully coalesced through the cathartic distance of retrospect, haunted by the sibilant whispers of distinct memories in dialogue, latticed by lesions that fatefully and poignantly intersect.

This is a release against the violation of human rights and abuse of the Chilean people by the government and the military police army.
This is the call to a social change from a group of artists united in a humanitarian cause. This is the shout of strength and support from the global techno music community.

La furia del Pueblo is an album that we have been working on for almost two months in which artists from different places of the world have collaborated, to demonstrate the union and support that is being given to the people from Chile, who has been fighting and demanding dignity; but at the same time being vilely repressed by military and armed police that has abused and violated human rights in countless occasions, the current government and particularly President Sebastian Piñera being the absolute culprit of everything that has been happening.
This release aims to make all this go out to the world and that people know that we are united and support this type of instances, that we are not only producers or djs thinking about parties, drugs and excesses as they want to make us see the media normally.
Adicionally the money left by the sales in digital format of these tracks will be given to people in a street situation in the form of food and shelter, since they are the most unprotected, because they have absolutely no help from anyone. A few years ago we worked with an Ong and we do not like how they work, they were very transparent, so we will do this work with my family and friends, as we have done since the movement started, there are many ways to help and this It can be one more.
It is time to give a furious shout through techno music and show that we are just parties and drugs as they usually stigmatize us. La Furia del Pueblo is a shout of strength and support from several of the most influential artists of techno music yesterday and today managed and runned by Utch Records and will be available on December 30 in our bandcamp and from January 17, 2020 on all digital platforms.
