It seems like I have been deejaying my entire life. Oh well!! I have been a professional deejay for the past 14 years and still going strong. Born and raised in nairobi, kenya; but now I reside in oklahoma city oklahoma. As I can remember music and sounds have been part of my life and has impacted it enormously. Deejaying is my passion, I dream, eat and dwell in music. The High I get when I do mix two different songs with no single thread of any relationship & ultimately the final product is a smooth unision sound, is such an awesome feeling. As a deejay I am jake of all trade; I do Club settings, Corporate settings, private parties eg: birthdays, graduations, babyshowers, weddings just to mention afew. ●Lawrence is a vast music collector and a hobbyist DJ.

●Lawrence was born and raised in Kampala – Uganda East Africa. He started collecting and playing music as early as high school, throughout college/university and continued to follow his passion of sharing experiences through music.   

● Lawrence was inspired and trained by DJ HannyB of the former SM sounds and later Shure Sounds. 

●He played through college and high school dances and other areas like Nabinonya Entebbe,  Heritage park and later worked with Club East Enders on Namirembe road ( Old Kampala)

● Even after graduating as an educationist & Human rights activist,  Lawrence continued playing and collecting music as a hobby. 

● Lawrence has a soft spot for Old-school music, Soul,  classics, oldies, Jazz, Afro beats, RnB and Dance hall. 

●Later in life
 Lawrence relocated and he is now living in Chicago north western area, IL USA. 

●Together with other friends, they formed the AFROBASE CREW CHICAGO an umbrella entertainment event entity of DJs, Photographers, event Planners, caterers, decorators and more …. That serve the great Chicago area and states around the Midwest. (Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and more)

●Lawrence is also the CEO and Director of DJ LAWRENCE SERVICES, a private company that provides Sound, Lighting and does weddings, anniversaries, club events, birthdays, graduations and more.  {BOOKINGS +1-815-219-1608}
