Colleen Power is an award-winning Newfoundland Singer/Songwriter. An amazingly diverse talent, her music ranges from upbeat & fun, to serious & melancholy, and from traditional to stingingly relevant on current themes. Content of her seven solo albums ranges from children’s songs to edgy adult humour. Her lyrics are cutting, clever and can deliver a message with a punch, often with strong Newfoundland content and themes. Colleen is a lovingly creative, tender butterfly who can instantly  morph into fearless, dynamic powder keg that you wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley. She's backed by veteran musicians Jason Whelan on guitar, Aneirin Thomas on bass and Ed Sutherby on drums. Along with Colleen on acoustic guitar, electric guitar and ukulele, the Colleen Power Band does not make it easy to just sit down and watch. Singing along and dancing is a natural occurrence!
