I Sat Down By The River [an original song]

A new song written for my wife now that I’m “old and grey”. The musical idea sparked off in me a few days before we visited Rome for a short stay; the lyrics were completed in Rome. Recorded on 26/9/2022.

笛が鳴る
吹き下ろす

The wind sounds like a flute.
It blows down and up.
It drags its tail like a fox and kicks down the plank door.
High laughter. Ha-ha-ha.
Husky voice. Hee-hee-hee.
Crouching on the stone hearth.

Method: A Vintage Lemon Drop guitar and voice through roland vt4, catalinbread many worlds and catalinbread cloak into zoom r20. 
Narration: People get older, the ones I care for not excluded.

It was done with a midi keyboard in logic and I used their drummer feature for the drums.
