Sweet work, colourful music for the beautiful poem !!

This song is based on poetry by my aunt Pat.  Here is her original poem:

Pleasing Breeze
(2014)

A gentle breeze
Is blowing by just to please.

It seems to tickle the leaves
In the trees.
They seem to be dancing
In this gentle breeze.

Just peeking over the horizon
Was the bright shining sun.

The birds in the air are joyfully
Chirping and having such fun.

The grass is deep green
And the colorful flowers
Add a special beauty
To the serene scene.

As the gentle breeze
Is blowing by just to please.

Notes:
Pat Brandstetter is my aunt.

This is the first song I have ever written that uses only one chord G7.  In different places I emphasize different notes in the G7 chord.  But all chords use one or more of these notes G B D and F.  In the chorus I emphasize the F (7th) and the D (5th).  The verse [place more emphasis on the root (G) and the third (B).

When I did it I thought I should do a song with one chord.  It seemed like a daunting task.  I thought there is no way song with one chord can be any good.  Then I played “Chain of Fools” by Aretha Franklin.  It is basically a one chord song.  I thought this can be done.  Here it is.  What do you think?+

The Call

Firstly I would like to say, all those suffering with Psoriatic arthritis .. I TOTALLY GET IT !!!!  I had my first flare up a few months back and it stopped me dead in my tracks !!!! . I could'nt open a tin of beans never mind play anything. Luckily I got my shot (which made me feel like I was 20 again) which lasted long enough for the medication to kick in and now things seem to have calmed down a great deal. fingers crossed !!!
I started tracking this one about 4 months ago but never got it finished. FINALLY its finished I hope you all enjoy it. Just somthing easy going to get started again.

I am Dan Lockhart/ProgRockDan.  I am half of the duo Dan X2.  I enjoy making music with my partner Dan Blackard.  I was born in East St. Louis, Illinois.  I was raised in a rural area near Edwardsville, Illinois.  I have lived in San Antonio, Texas; Bad, Kreuznach, Germany;  Kansas City, Missouri; Columbus, Georgia; Haverhill Massachusetts;  St, Louis, Missouri, and Indianapolis, Indiana.  I have resided in Carmel Indiana for the past 20 + years.  I consider this home.  I have a small studio in my home.  I go to it everyday and work on creating (writing) songs.  I play bass, guitar, banjo, mandolin, pedal steel, piano, violin, and viola.  I use Cubase for my DAW.  I master using Izotope, Ozone.
