After five years of abstinence, my son fell back into drugs. All attempts to help him bounced off the increasingly overpowering drug cocktails. All my feelings during this time, the anger about the destructive power of the drugs, the powerlessness in the face of the quicksand in which my son sank further and further, the despair and sadness about the loss of loving contact with him, I have tried to process in this song.

Nach fünf Jahren der Abstinenz ist mein Sohn wieder den Drogen verfallen. Alle Versuche, ihm zu helfen, prallten an den immer übermächtiger werdenden Drogencocktails ab. Alle meine Gefühle in dieser Zeit, die Wut über die zerstörerische Kraft der Drogen, die Ohnmacht angesichts des Treibsandes, in den mein Sohn immer weiter versank, die Verzweiflung und Trauer über den Verlust des liebevollen Kontaktes zu ihm, habe ich versucht, in diesem Song zu verarbeiten.
