The light has broken through. This marks the first pulse in the continuum—a radiant signal from "We Didn’t Come Alone," now forming two versions in the ether (July 17th 2025).

Steve Sonius has carved a dynamic legacy spanning three decades within the Australian music scene, championing the evolution of underground electronic music. Immersed in Sydney's musical tapestry, he effortlessly transitions between immersive DJ sets in intimate venues and boundary-pushing journeys through ambient soundscapes. Known for his steadfast commitment to pushing artistic boundaries, Steve's ethos values authenticity over mainstream trends, celebrating the nuances of creativity.

As a former co-founder and promoter of Sydney's esteemed Bad Dog collective for over twenty-three years, Steve played an integral role in nurturing community and inclusivity. Today, he channels his passion into music production, further shaping the sonic landscape.

Steve's journey is peppered with unforgettable events at Bad Dog and Mad Racket, alongside numerous nights at iconic The Phoenix. Additionally, he's curated intimate gatherings at Casula Powerhouse under the Ambient Guerrilla banner and graced appearances at parties like Undead and Last Exit. From compiling mixed compilations for Andy Ranzen’s alter ego Pelican Daughters to the electric energy of Inquisitions events, Mardi Gras festivals, Sleaze Balls, and Harbour Party, Steve's contributions echo throughout Sydney's diverse music landscape.

Mathieu Harlaut aka Chamberlain is a French producer, composer & pianist/keyboardist.
After touring with his post modern jazz trio, he has released three albums, three Eps and many singles and reworks for other artists.
It has been released via his own label, and Parisian labels such as Infine Music, Kwaidan Records, or Relief Rec. Including "City-Sous-Bois" and "Fifty Plans" used by Victoria Beckham for Paris Fashion Week Show, "Veridis Quo" Daft Punk's cover via Wagram Music, and "Call Me" Joon Moon's remix featured "Queen Sugar" 's show on Oprah Winfrey Network.
He's also composing for musicals libraries agencies and creative publishers such as Cezame Music Agency, Sony Music Publishing or Art Melodies (four albums).
Main concerts and venues : Finaliste du Prix Société Ricard Live 2020, Transmusicales de Rennes, Festival Piano City Milano Italy, La Gaité Lyrique Paris, Reeperbahn Festival Hamburg, Fondation Louis Vuitton Paris 2023 with his young audience show "Typotypex'" (composer, actor and director) and many many clubs in France and Europe.
Chamberlain has always had the audacity to push his curiosity to its logical conclusion, conjuring up unique sonic spectres. Verging on strange, these apparitions aggregate a myriad of influences and approaches combining DIY, scholarly appropriation and pop arrangements, Where classical, jazz, electro and soundtracks merge to form innovative musical compositions. Here's the picture : Kraftwerk, Ravel, Satie, Debussy, Steve Reich, Aphex Twin, Brad Mehldau, Ryuichi Sakamoto or François de Roubaix, get it ? Enough with the references. It's not so much where Chamberlain comes from that matters, but where he takes us.

My name is Paul Amlehn. I am an artist working in the mediums of literature, music, visual art, theater, opera, dance, performance art, and film.

My poetry, prose, and texts for theater and opera have been published in literary journals in 23 countries, including Exquisite Corpse, the California Quarterly, Poetry Salzburg Review, and Evergreen Review.

My paintings, photographs, music, and video art works have been exhibited throughout the world, including at Artist's Space, Luhring Augustine, the Chelsea Art Museum, and Tate Liverpool, and at festivals which include Art 42 Basel (with the Serpentine Gallery - curated by Julia Peyton-Jones and Hans Ulrich Obrist), documenta 14, and the 51st, 55th, 56th, 57th, 58th, and 60th Venice Biennales.

I am currently working on an album of music which has texts and vocals by William S. Burroughs, in cooperation with the Burroughs Estate. I am also presently working on an album of music which reimagines the work of John Cage, in cooperation with the John Cage Trust.

Cover art for my albums has been provided by painter Gerhard Richter and artist, musician, and filmmaker David Lynch.

At the end of 2024, I worked on several re-creation compositions which utilzed sonic elements from pre-existing songs by Brian Eno and David Byrne, Nine Inch Nails, and Grimes, from their albums "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts," Ghosts I-IV," and "Miss Anthropocene, combined with new music by myself and other musicians.

I recently completed a short film in collaboration with the Austrian-Irish painter Gottfried Helnwein called: "Epigenetic Trauma Portrait No. 1".

I also recently completed another short film: "And God Created Sex".

I'm presently working on a new music recording project. Musicians taking part in this project are: Stan Harrison (Talking Heads), Ben Somers (Seal), Jarboe (Swans), Ghazi Barakat (Pharoah Chromium), Rob Burns (David Gilmour), Nicholas Currie (Momus), Peter Hess (Philip Glass Ensemble), and others.
