Nato nel 1991 e cresciuto in una città portoghese chiamata Vila Nova de Famalicão, inizia a studiare musica all'età di 20 anni. Dopo aver frequentato una scuola specializzata in produzione di musica elettronica nel 2012, pubblica il suo  primo EP, a cura di Underdub Records. Da allora non si è mai fermato!

We must always trust our own process, even if sometimes along the way things seem uncertain or nearly impossible. Change is good.
This year (2020) I want to upgrade my artistic vision creating something unique. 
"xiphoid" is now "filippo svs" representing my art conception under a holistic point of view.

this new project starts with a 60 minutes mix of deep sounds from ambient to techno related with experimental melodies.

This weeks Hypnotic Groove guest mix comes from the brilliant Eluize!

Moonlighter at heart, Eluize spends her time writing, creating and curating a spectrum of house and techno to soundtrack the hours. 

The Australian born, Berlin based DJ,producer and vocalist’s sonic leanings span from dubby and spacious, through rave inspired euphoria to intense and acidic.
Her debut album surfaced on Craigie Knowes in April 2019. “Confide” is a beautiful 7 track journey built on a unique blend of Eluize's voice, drum machines and synthesis,flowing between dance floor hypnotics and melodies that throw you out to drift in alonely cosmic ocean.

Resident at AWAY at :// aboutblank, Eluize has also been called up to perform at highcalibre clubs and festivals around the world.
Eluize’s music can also be found on her own imprint Night Tide, established in 2016 as an outlet for her take on beauty in electronic sound and international collaboration between sonic and visual artists.

Eluize is currently touring in Australia and will return to Berlin in mid-March for her residency at AWAY at Aboutblank. She has recently remixed R Kitt's 'Ripples From The Edge' & her next EP is out at the end of March on Bermuda Series.

The fiery orange, turquoise, coral and sapphire blue merged into one infinite mantle that was the sea. Captivated by the colours of a setting sun you could hardly sense the strength of an incoming tide. The lagoon once dry now is being held in a deadlock by the sea. The salty current is almost at the feet, the day’s almost at its end, with the mind racing to find a way out. While the only way out is to go in. To greet THNTS and his black waves.

Born in Bogota, Colombia, Aleja Sanchez has been active in the techno scene since 2007. A mental and deep but forceful sound combined with a natural penchant for experimental and diverse soundscapes with raw lines have laid the foundations for her to develop a highly unique musical voice into the International techno circuit. Currently, Aleja Sanchez is consider “one of the Colombian scene's biggest international exports” Resident Advisor, 2019.

The aesthetic applies to her DJ sets explains why she has been invited to direct the booths in places like Tresor.Berlin (Germany), Stardust (Spain), Razzmatazz (Spain), Perpetum (Czech Republic), Flex (Austria), Sound Department (Italy), Liquid Club (Malta), Dissident (Russia), Khidi (Georgia) among others.

In 2018, Aleja Sanchez was invited for Boiler Room to be part of the famous streaming in it first version in Medellin, Colombia. In the same year was invited to participate as panelist in Bogotá 24/7, event organized by Resident Advisor in seven cities around the world.

As producer, Aleja Sanchez is the label head of Northallsen records and contributor to Affin, Attic Music, Planet Rhythm, Illegal Alien among others. With an experimental hypnotic and fused techno and a gentle and melancholic ambient current she reveals her stylized and unique sound.

Deepness, quality and versatility are characteristics of Aleja Sanchez who always strives to create a unique dialogue between the environment, techno and experimental electronics, carefully curated and skillfully organized in a unique and sonorous landscape both in the studio and behind the decks.

Samuel, born in and based in Amsterdam  has been involved in the techno scene for several years. The Dutch DJ joined Monument first as a writer in 2017, which he was eager to do due to his increased passion for techno and ambient music over the years. Not much later he also picked up the mantle of MNMT’s head of podcast. Sam performed his very first DJ gig In June of 2019 at MNMT Festival, with a 2-hour melancholic ambient mix as the opening of the final day of the festival, to which he was overwhelmed with all the positive feedback. This motivated him to focus more and more on his development as a DJ. What followed were gigs in various countries in Asia, Europe and also United States throughout 2019 and early 2020.
