Welcome to 57th chapter of the Deep Electronics Podcast mixed by Tawbaq. This year the more darker and deeper sets are back. Last year I also posted so many nice sets from many great artists. in genres like: Dark minimal, Ambient, Dark techno, IDM and so on. Now Tawbaq is the first artist this year to kick off these series of more darker sounds. Enjoy his Hypnotic techno set!!

Bio:

Tawbaq is an ambitious and talented DJ/Producer from Poznan. His adventure with electronic music has started about year 2000. He invested into his first equipment at that time and improved his skills. From the beginning his strong and darker side was techno that he prefers to have in sets till today. The other side of it is Ambient and Electronic music that he also likes. His sets are dark, with climate and deep but can also be strong and full of energy. He always assumes that set has to be as a history that's deep in us and we want to give it to the listeners. His talent has been proved also in productions. He's producing Ep in labels like: Dirty Stuff Records, Bequem Digital, DSR Digital, Npr Limitless, Animals Muziq Recordings. His productions are supported by the main dj's and producers of electronics of the world. In January 2014 his first album has appeared under the title 'Other Side Of The Planet' that has release by Dirty Stuff Records. Tawbaq has been performing in clubs like: Browar in Pila, Colloseum in Klobuck, Olimpia in Miloslaw, Amaro in Kalety, Fort Colomb, Reset Club, Tunel (IQ)Club, Be4 club, Minoga Minus, 8Bitow, Cafe Miesna, Joker Pub in Grodzisk Wlkp., Efez Music Bar in Leszno and in many other clubs.

Dasha Rush is a Russian born artist who sees the genre as a starting place not a destination. She is a respected and well-travelled DJ and live performer, but her work is equally focussed away from the dance floor, and sometimes away from music itself. Her recent album for Raster-Noton, Sleepstep, could be a metaphor for her work: "These 16 pieces are transmissions from that state between sleep and wakefulness," said Tony Naylor, a reflection of the in-between zones her music often inhabits. Dubby but intense, brutal but tender, foggy yet clear—Sleepstep was a wonderful mass of contradictions. Not being one thing or the other is vitally important to Rush, which goes hand-in-hand with her strong independent streak. The majority of the music she's released since starting out in 2005 has come through her own Fullpanda label and, as she told us in 2013, she's resistant to playing the publicity game in the way many in the scene do. That's meant she's remained off the radar for some techno fans, but it's also given her the freedom to explore projects and sounds as she pleases. With all this mind, it was little surprise that our invitation to record a podcast was met with, "Yes, but it won't be a club mix." What we got instead was an absorbing 65 minutes of dense ambient soundscapes that shows Rush at her most reflective. The mix comes ahead of the North American premiere of Antarctic Takt, Rush's A/V show with Stanislav Glazov, at this week's Mutek festival in Montreal.

Tawbaq is a young, ambitious and talented DJ / Producer and Owner Label of Hypnotic Landscapes Records. His adventure with electronics began around 2000. The musical style of what he play is mainly Deep/Dub/Techno. There are also gigs where the play Ambient/Experimental.Tawbaq music are well accepted as hypnotic,deepness sounds and experimenting with ambient soundscapes. It is a member of the label Dirty Stuff Records,Circular Limited,Eufemia and DSR Digital.In January 2014 his first album has appeared under the title 'Other Side Of The Planet' that has release by Dirty Stuff Records.

Here are a few words related to the process of mixing.

"Hello there! 
When I started compiling this mix, I thought ‘Wouldn’t it be great if only I could play this music in the forest.’ I had the kind of a ‘melodic’ mood that evening, and I hope you won't judge me for that  . I started with an ambient work by Seraphim Rytm, followed by an unreleased track by our Ukrainian duo Woo York from their upcoming EP on Semantica. Next after that is the tune by F.U.S.E. (early Richie Hawtin's alias), released in 1993. After that follows another unreleased work, its identity not to be revealed at this point. Then you’ll find a track by Steven Tang and one more brilliant work delivered to us by Sandwell District (Function’s Version of ‘Immolare’, to be precise). Then it is ‘Aurora’ — one of my favourite tracks from a friend and another fellow Ukrainian Etapp Kyle, who is based in Berlin right now. Following that are tunes from Ness, Marcus Henriksson and my secret weapon, an old school techno-trance classic from 1992. Finishing the mix are tracks by Silent Servant and SSTROM, last one also representing Semantica.

EN: Denim Szram: a sound artist developing interactive sound installations and immersive multichannel compositions, now living in Basel. This Mix goes out in memory on his Krakow times, while he was DJing along with his WTP friends. Together we stated our first WTP events and we are happy to say that he still visits us regularly to reunion the crew 🙂 His work ranges from spacial sound design to audio visual compositions and live electronics.

She started as a resident of the all-girl techno crew Code XX parties in 2015, and is responsible for some of the most forward thinking electronic sounds coming from Macedonia. With her deep psychedelic and hypnotic dj and live expressions Klara is growing as an artist that brings a special kind of emotional energy to every show, transmitting insight from the cosmic consciousness and natural vibrations into sonic sound scapes.

숲의 여사제이자 전자음악의 이해자, 그리고 마케도니아 스코페 (Skopje) 를 중심으로 활동하는 멀티미디어 아티스트인 Klara 는 전자음악에서 온 리듬을 통해 최면같은 사이키델릭함을 전해주는 플로어의 주술사다. 그녀는 2015년 여성 테크노 크루 Code XX 의 파티의 레지던트로 시작을 하였고, 마케도니아의 가장 진보적인 전자음악의 한 축을 담당하고 있다. We are happy to host Binary Thoughts on our channel as well as for their Berlin debut at our Rituals on April 14th at Suicide Circus.
The name Binary Thoughts may speak for itself, but there is a much deeper meaning embedded within. 
The ancestral way of thinking has always been 'binary'. In order to understand reality in all its complexity we made a world of oppositions (day/night, man/woman). Where the law of "all or nothing" rules, there is no in-between. But reality is indeed always more complex and richer than what our 'perception' of the world suggests. 
This perception beyond this “all or nothing” connected Ana Bogatinovska and Jovana Gjorgievska. At first strangers to each other, they met at a music festival in their native country; And after a long discussion about electronic music, they've decided to make a
project that will connect their slightly different but similar taste in electronic music.
Their dark, unpredictable, underground techno and electronic sounds, evident in their DJ sets, reflects the uniqueness of their one of a kind 'binary' sound, able to take you from darkest corners to the deepest and most colorful nebuale of the universe.
Currently they are exploring the vast horizons of techno music and improving performance skills, with an aim to their create their own unique blend of creativity to start producing music on their own.
