Classically trained guitarist and music educator. When I began playing and leading Kirtan with my wife, Angie,  over 4 years ago - everything changed. It was like a light was shining in the room and it was clear what I was supposed to be doing. When I play - It is meditation - it is communion - it is sacred. The recordings I post here on soundcloud are mostly live and recorded using a Tascam DR-08 stereo PCM Linear recorder - really basic stuff - I do very minimal processing on these recordings -some eq, some compression/limiting/reverb maybe - I am trying to capture the essence and joy of the live experience for those who were there or wish they were there!! In addition to Pure Kirtan and Classical Guitar music, I challenge myself to write something new every week or to record and mix something new a few times a month. These projects are under the moniker "Extraneous Solutions". 

IZOIX is a Dance Music producer and DJ who’s been in the background without many people even knowing it. IZOIX first picked up DJing and has been honing his craft since finding Tiësto, Deadmau5, Hardwell and many others in 2010 long before owning & operating an EDM event business with friends from 2019-2023. Being well-versed in over 2 dozen genres and sub-genres, he’s decided to focus on his passion for Big Room, Techno, & Hardstyle and usher in a new wave of sound by combining all three. With 6 years of live-show experience under his belt, IZOIX is here to shake things up.

ONE truth

To the naked eye, Oakville, Ontario native Jules Collarile might seem like your average 14-year-old: a social butterfly with an iPod full of Ed Sheeran, Amy Winehouse, Pink and Avril Lavigne. Upon closer inspection, one finds a brave, blossoming new Indie Pop Artist and singer-songwriter, poised and ready to take the music scene by storm.

It’s been a whirlwind couple of years for Jules, who was asked to perform at the 2013 Girls Who Believe Fest in Toronto after ‘Nashville’ actresses Lennon and Maisy singled her original song ‘Super Girl’ out of hundreds of applicants to the Fest’s song competition. Her original tune ‘My Little Soldier,’ written for a young friend who lost his battle with cancer, was recognized by the 2014 Unsigned Only competition in the Teen Songwriter category. In the summer of 2014, the teen reached the semi-finals in the Canadian National Exhibition’s Rising Star Talent Competition with another original, “City Lights”. In January 2015 Jules became a finalist in the 11th annual IAMA’s (International Acoustic Music Awards) in the Open AOG category.

The daughter of a drummer and former band manager, Jules takes the stage as though it is a familiar place. She is a shockingly mature performer, simultaneously commanding and vulnerable. Notably, the young teen is quick to donate her talent to causes close to her heart. In 2012 she performed the Bruno Mars song “Just The Way You Are” in support of cancer research. Jules showcased her talents at a subsequent Oakville based charity event, raising $10,000 in the process and donating 12 inches of her hair to Angel Hair for Kids. “Supporting local charities and social causes are important to me. It is my way of giving back.”

This Canadian's bleeding heart vocal delivery has become her ‘secret-weapon’, brazen in one breath and hauntingly stark in the next. Jules credits the discovery of her unique singing voice to Amanda Mabro and her songwriting talents to Robyn Dell ‘Unto from a “Song of My Own”. 

Jules picked up the guitar at the early age of six and hasn’t parted with it since. She continues to study acoustic and electric guitar, plays piano and regularly incorporates both fingerpicking and strumming techniques into her original compositions.

Jules spent the later part of 2014 in the studio with producer Karen Kosowski (Emma-lee, Ash & Bloom) recording her debut EP “Heart of Armor” which was released in the spring of 2015. The album portrays a sense of vulnerability coupled by unforeseen confidence. Her lyrics embrace the life of a well-traveled young woman, but capture the innocence of a teen ready to take flight.
