I am a young Hip Hop artist coming out of Jacksonville, FL. I was born on the tiny island of Jamaica and have always had a love and appreciation for music. After coming to the United States, I fell in love with the Hip Hop culture. I am influenced by many different artist, no more than my favorite, Kanye West. I am up and coming and looking to make a name for myself in the industry

His parents, raising him off of the likes of Eminem, Jay-Z, and Kanye West at the young age of 6, has impacted his career and style, as he grew listening to the impactful words, in either a boom bap, g funk, or lyrical miracle spiritual fashion. He expanded his repertoire throughout the years, studying the genre to learn how to flow and rhyme in the ways of the great 90s rappers, which he believes can set him apart from the new wave of trap and party rap. However, as he became the student of the game that he is to this day, he has studied the arts of the newer generation to merge with the older wave that he grew up and loved, merging the two styles to create one of his own. Perfecting his craft for over 7 years, Skam The Rapper has learned the art of mincing words, incredible rhyme schemes, storytelling, and the ability to flow to nearly any beat, from stereotypical rap, boom bap, trap, to even performing a cypher over the Avengers Endgame theme tune. Throughout his lyrics Skam is not afraid to speak his mind, creating crude and nasty visuals as he speaks on world issues, controversial subjects, and the state that Hip-Hop is in. From battle rapping on street corners, to SoundCloud, to Spotify and Apple Music, Skam will continue to create, and kill any beat put in front of him.

He's released several albums and mixtapes, including Weatherman (2006) and Solja Psychology (2010), and has worked with Rick Ross and Wayne Wonder.
