Audrey Gruss is Founder and Chairman of the Hope for Depression Research Foundation (HDRF), which she established in 2006 in memory of her late mother Hope, who battled clinical depression for decades. HDRF’s mission is to fund pioneering international scientific research into the origins, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of depression and its related mood and other emotional disorders, with the ultimate goal of finding a cure. Additionally, in 2017, Audrey created the Hope Fragrance Collection, a line of fragrances that donate 100% of net profits directly to the Hope for Depression Research Foundation.

Ms. Allred has won countless honors for her pioneering legal work on behalf of victims who have been discriminated against due to gender, race, age, sexual orientation, sexual harassment or because they have AIDS.  She is also well-known for its work on behalf of victims of rape, child sexual abuse and battered women. Ms. Allred also founded the Women’s Equal Rights Legal Defense and Education Fund, and is the author of “Fight Back and Win, My Thirty-Year Fight Against Injustice - And How You Can Win Your Own Battles”. Gloria and I are discussing her incredible life story, why she became a tireless crusader for women, and  why she will never be done fighting.
