This month we turn the spotlight on Michael Aiken, of Garden Lounge in celebration of the independent literary Creative Space's first anniversary on King Street, Newtown.  A book shop where you can come to browse, read, and just soak in the ambiance of alternative culture's.  In June, Aiken also advances in age and with all this excitement Sydney poet Adam Aitken thought to share with us a few recorded thoughts with Michael in conversation.

This track started life two years ago at the beginning of the first lockdown. Both artist’s lyrics represent the density of the times - the anger in response to injustice, the frustration at people’s malleable passivity, the hope and encouragement that this is all an opportunity for catalysing positive change historical.
