Highly Animated

Italian producer Freedust is all about the funk-soul and the breaks blended with some lighthearted vocals that makes a sound that&rsquo;s is both classic and new. The sounds of Freedust is just the type of music we can&rsquo;t resist here at BBP - so when Mako &amp; Mr Bristow brought forward their epic big beat remix of My New Sunglasses - we did not think twice to get all over this project.
To complete the package we brought in 2 veterans in the funky breaks scene: BadboE &amp; Dj B-Side to do their funky thing on a party-breaks remix.
My New Sunglasses is the title track of Freedust&rsquo;s debut album from 2021 by the same name and features some classic grooves and some sweet vocals from Swedish singer Lisa Widmark.
On the remix front Mako &amp; Mr Bristow has captured the essential samples of the original and added some big bouncy beats and made it their own. BadboE &amp; B-Side has brough the track to the dancefloors with some ghetto vibes and human beatbox beats.

The one and only Krafty Kuts returns to Bombstrikes with an EP of absolute fire. Anyone tuning in to his weekly live streams will know that it takes more than a global pandemic to knock Krafty off his game and this latest release is testament to a true master at work. First up is a slice of Bass Funk perfection in the form of 'Step To This' which sees Krafty join forces with the prodigious DJ and producer: Dubra. Delivering a sonic bass assault that attacks with low down and deep frequencies paired with driving beats and a killer vocal. Title track 'Start Rockin' showcases the funk side of Krafty's sound, with toughened Hip Hop beats driving the groove and an infectious piano break. For 'Disco Sally' we move back into the mid-tempo electronic sound for an exquisitely produced track which perfectly blends electronica and P- Funk evoking keys. Finally, 'Deadly Pin' rounds off the EP nicely with party inducing horn and vocal hooks delivered with a firm eye on the dance floor.
