Me good pal MartyParty and I decided that the colonials (South Africa and NZ respectively) needed to share the love when it comes to all things Bass and Strings. ‘Mind Vacation’ was crafted in northern South America over the past year after Styles initially left what was familiar in America to pursue a more open and conscious experience in the southern hemisphere, away from the everyday grind of life that so many of us are familiar with. Intending to stay for only a period of months, COVID-19 and the current
climate of the United States has seen Styles make a more permanent home in South America. This album is a reflection of the experiences, memories, and frame-of-mind garnered throughout.

As heard in the voiceover of the opening title track of the album, Mind Vacation (featuring Philos label-mate Derlee)perfectly frames the careful and intentional message behind the album:
