Daydreaming

This track was inspired by the way society has grown to think squeezing every ounce of vitality and nutritional content out of people, places, and things is "the new norm." It has only "become the norm" because we've failed to see, acknowledge, and put the brakes on seeing the ways the medical industry, psychology, psychiatry, religion, counseling, coaching, mentoring and other societal influencers have "authorized" the over-diagnosing to over-prescribe and over-medicate without the same health testing requirements for the brain... as required for every other organ of the body to determine which areas of the brain are hyper and/or hypo active. Instead, it's "acceptable" to DO HARM by blindly, essentially, tossing a dart at a dart board to diagnosis someone to medicate a patient; however a person with a prescription pad and pen... deems they want. For instance, depression... lots of things can cause depression and/or attention issues from artificial colors in foods, gluten causing brain fog, excessive traumas or losses, etc. Each of those things affects the brain differently; but, the effects are all depression. Now, if you don't scan the brain to find out exactly which part of the brain is affected, which parts are under or over performing/producing... it's like playing roulette with someone's brain and their life. How do I/we know? We were one of many victims of this medical industry practice... and it sent us to weighing 287 pounds, (years ago,) and being essentially brain dead or feeling like a zombie. The medical industry had us prescribed to take a minimum of 28 pills a day, just to get out of bed and "function." Their definition of "functioning," NOT ours, since a lot of days we were nearly bedridden. Turned out, once we were gifted the book Wheat Belly by an aunt, a retired nurse, we began getting back some of our life. We lost 70 pounds just by terminating ONE brain medication during a time we could not exercise because we had the worst severely strained ankle we'd ever had and weren't permitted to take walks for nearly 24 weeks! We hadn't changed our diet, at all, weren't exercising, and simply stopped taking ONE medication. As a result, we systematically began taking ourselves off more and more meds and replaced them or supplemented our health by using essential oils. 

Our advice is not from or as a medical professional... we are NOT one! Always seek your health care professional (s') advice BEFORE you adjust your diet or medications!!! We advise seeking a whole wellness doctor who uses or focuses more on nutrition and what are commonly referred to as "alternative medicines" despite the alternative medicines are actually what pharmaceuticals are. Natural, herbs and plant-based health care tonics are what medicine people of old used; before man decided to corrupt the ingredients, diluting, polluting, and toxifying it... for profit and control over the general populace. It's time we do more reading folks, and less time sitting in front of screens causing the same judgments and division those diagnostic terminologies were created to induce. And my, my... how well they've worked! Be more selective about how much you're willing to let others squeeze out of you, your life... and what ingredients are going to compliment the creative life juices flowing within you. Are you going to be a lemonade made with lemons full of bitter pesticides by those who don't want you to become the most delicious refreshment... or ones who flourished in an organic garden, protected and pollinated by the birds, bees, and other naturally occurring elements and beings who truly want to support you, your wellbeing?

I started work on this track almost 2 years ago just as we were going into lockdown. Unfortunately I developed a hearing problem in my left ear that required surgery so had to take a step back, can you imagine no music throughout lockdown!!!!!!!  anyhow finally things are good now, thankfully.
                 I hope you like this R&B styled track, this is the first of 2 I was working on!! I have been working Frantically like a robot to get it mixed...hence robot mix.... I also added a robotic count in because I'm nuts!!!! thankyou for all the support!!!

Lost & Lonely

This one's for you Santi...
Two months ago our dear and wonderfully talented friend and musician Santi Caballero Mendez was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident in his hometown of Barcelona.  Sam and I had recorded over 50 tunes together yet we had never spoken.  To honor Santi, we have created our tribute Missing You - with 17 different musicians around the world who had recorded with Sam in my music.  The music brings out so many emotions for me, sadness, joy, passion, playfulness, and of course the incredible latin spirit.   Each section of the piece has different musicians, and so many musicians appear and reappear throughout the piece - but often with different supporting casts.  In the end, a moving tribute from so many of Soundcloud's very finest.  Thank you all for joining in as we honor Santi - and thank you Santi...we're Missing You:

Particles of The Heart

This track was not a collaboration. This track was composed after processing a trifecta of profound life experiences through Mother Nature, over a period of roughly three weeks. With the first two experiences, it felt nearly absurd and insane to experience such utterly devastating losses of young, innocent lives, back-to-back, requiring the release of deep, guttural cries within our lacking the understanding of why such things must occur in the world. 

The third experience; however, was a miracle... a sight one never expects to actually see or experience, personally, despite reading about these occurrences within books and/or hearing about them within interviews and/or documentaries throughout your life. It is within those "miracle moments" you realize we are not meant to understand or know everything, and how it truly is such a privilege to actually see, hear, smell, taste, touch, feel, experience, learn, and/or to know anything at all... considering the immeasurable vastness of the universe and possible experiences we can have to BE able to draw upon them in the future, for ourselves and for others. This experience was indeed... a much needed, Divinely timed... "Rejuvenation" for the depths of the soul. We thank the universe, The Divine, our Angels, Guides, and Ancestors for the plethora of increments that went into creating this Divinely timed experience for us. We thank you for spending time within this blog and music track to lend yourself to perhaps experiencing a small notion of how we have been feeling about it all.

Rejuvenation

This track was not a collaboration. This track was created as we commenced diving into the deepest emotional depths of the heart, mind, body, and soul connection. In diving into this space, we have been able to reconnect with more of the memories and gifts we had as a child, those "things" and/or experiences that "called us" towards our own spiritual interconnectedness with Mother Earth/Gaia, Father Sun/Sky, animals, gardening... and the universal heartbeat of Oneness. We've experienced profound revelations about how far we "strayed" from whom we were always created to BE. We remembered a few more dreams or desires of things we'd hoped to accomplish... "some day," and began diving into some "rabbit holes," in an effort to find a few more ways to "allow" our "stifled, muffled, and silenced inner child" the opportunity to come out and play. 
As we searched and awaited/await a few more "things" to come into place, for our "plans of play," we began to appreciate how far we've come along our spiritual enlightenment journey... through the combination which spoke to us most in reconnecting and reunifying of our heart, mind, body, and soul... through blending the use of essential oils with our "uniquely, emotively creative" composing, producing, singing, and songwriting stylings. 
We liken our journey to that of carefully "clearing" each part of the chakras. Gently, energetically and spiritually, we've embarked upon "meditatively removing" each piece of our spine, envisioning the nerves compressed for years by spinal spurs and suppressed and repressed emotions being permitted to "hang freely," permitting, encouraging, inviting, and requesting the energy to remember what it felt like as a child... to freely flow... and open to begin to truly allow ourselves the freedom to do so once again. 
We envisioned cradling the nerves in a gentle massage to aid in restoring the flow, as we assigned different "neon colors" to each piece... whether it was the nerves, the blockages, the spinal spurs, the blood vessels, the energy, and/or the vertebrae... being loving and cautious with each piece. We meditatively "gently brushed away" the emotions we've identified and continue to identify within each piece of our heart, mind, body, soul, and chakras. We realized we were doing so as though we're in our childhood family garden where we'd, unknowingly at the time, followed diligently behind our Dad, (as he used a shovel to overturn ground to prepare the season's garden,) with what we now know and can express as taking our old, beat-up, metal colander and metal tablespoon to live into "BEing an archaeologist..." searching for arrowheads, fossils, and such... ever so diligently; yet, tenderly... long before we should have ever known what those things were! I/we digress. As we pictured ourselves completing this meditative journey, "re-placing" each piece of our spine "back into its place," after we'd pictured our gentle "clearing of the debris" our Spirit Guides, Angels, and Ancestral Team "revealed" each piece of our spine, each vertebrae, was in the shape of a heart. This reminds us we are only as strong as the love and tenderness we choose to tend each piece within us, and to keep out the debris of others, as their life influences do not have to stifle the movement, the flow, the love we carry within ourselves. It's up to each of us to determine and retain or return to BEing in charge of the brilliance, the color choices, and the Glow we carry... in adorning our own essences... both internally and externally.

Glow

Yes, No, Maybe So

This track was not a collaboration. This track was created as a reminder to recognize it takes all of the droplets of positive and negative experiences within our lives to create each song that becomes part of the BEautiful legacy of the symphony we let behind us, when we leave the 3D to enter the next part of our soul's journey. Each emotional droplet becomes an exquisite, delicate, intricate instrument of the symphony of our life... which then, in turn, paints a piece of the canvas of the lives of everyone with whom we come into contact, however brief. 

We can choose to let others dictate our mode of transportation; how much, the type, and the weight of baggage we must carry; how far we can travel; when we can begin our journey and when we must return; whether or not we can travel with someone else and who it is; and what our final destination is... or... we can choose to travel to whatever horizons we want to view, with whom, how, and whenever we choose... as light as a feather or as free as a bird. We have individuality as "a superpower" for a reason; yet, it's odd many in the western world choose to not exercise it. Instead many choose to be blinded to the many ways we feel entitled to judge others based on not going deeply within ourselves to identify how we each still live into certain segments of antiquated religious, societal, and other divisive "sanctioned" education/teachings. We choose to continue our own Journey of self-discovery to dismantle those limiting beliefs we were taught and we hope you will join us in doing so for yourselves. Then, we can have a truly freeing utopia where fear doesn't prevail in creating distance between us for fear of lack... within or without.

Journey

This track was not a collaboration. This track was created as a self reminder... even the bravest, boldest, badass creatures lie down and rest from their calling to protect the ones around them, from time-to-time. It's okay to allow others to tend some of the "guarding against the ills of the world," the "shepherding of the flock," and to subdue and relax the hyper-vigilance created during past attacks and traumatic events. It's okay to quiet the racing mind. It's okay to truly close one's eyes and relax into a deep sleep, while allowing others to "take a turn," "watching the flock by night," so you may enjoy the warmth of the sunlight by day and at other times, you can swap and enjoy the soft glow of the various phases of the moon. On special days, one may even get to see the sun and the moon during the light of day... and know in that moment, we are not always... someone's prey. On those days we might be, it's more quickly seen if we are part of a flock... a "they..." and our hopes, thoughts, and fears... we are openly willing... to convey.

Sleepy Eyes

This track was not a collaboration. This track was created as we settle into the realization we have nearly completed this website spiritual enlightenment journey through original music and essential oils. It hasn't been easy, nor pleasant... as a great deal of it was diving deeply into identifying a lot of problems areas within us that we needed to dissect how certain experiences, traumas, and brain functioning affected and effected our thoughts, our behaviors, our relationships, etc. and process through old "battle wounds/scars." 
Another struggle, in nearing the completion of this project, has been seeing a greater height or "field of vision" or view of the things we've experienced along the way. Though this was a planned two year project, we see how we (once again) allowed people (who felt entitled) to push us into dropping our own plans and goals for this past year... into completing this project in nearly only one year. More and more we see and do not appreciate how people think they have the right to dictate the who, what, where, when, why, how, and to what extent... other people do things, like what was supposed to solely be a passion project for us in helping us use our original music and essential oils to guide us, (in our own time,) towards uncovering, reconnecting, and reunifying us with our heart, mind, body, and soul spaces... a journey back to our Sacred Self. But, the further along into the project we progressed, the more the entitlement mindsets of others came crashing inward, without regard to the fact we were doing this as our full-time job, while trying to take time to DEEPLY, HEALTHILY, and THOROUGHLY digest and process "all of the bits..." with our only intention BEing the mindset of personal growth as our goal and reward.
We regret permitting others the space to "taint the experience" for us, towards the end, "rewriting" our initially intended goal of completing and releasing our first album, by the end of this year... and learning to traditionally play more instruments, and taking two years to accomplish THIS website series project. But, we live and learn. What we've learned most is to keep our mouth shut about our ambitions, dreams, goals, and projects; and to shut everyone out of our future creative processes and endeavors... except the handful of folks who never wanted or expected anything from us; but, were simply there on the sidelines to support us. We've also learned (over the past several years, not solely from this particular passion project,) to not endorse any other person or products; because it seems nothing is ever "good enough," "enough/adequate support," etc. People will always want more than we are able to give, regardless of our health or self care realized needs. It is up to us to learn how our body and our brain best or most optimally function and it is our sole responsibility to our Sacred Self to not allow others to deter our self actualization in seeing its fruition... for the optimal "life line" of our soul. It's okay for others to not understand it, or us; but, it is not okay for others to demand we disrespect what we've learned and know about ourself and our self care needs. We always respected and resonated more with artists who "went their own way," went "against the grain," who "blazed new trails" to inspire others. We hope to one day BE the embodiment of that for others, too, by respecting our deepest, inner, truest Self.  
We cannot ever deeply know if we will inspire others to truly live emboldened, to be unabashedly creatively themselves; but, we can try to lead by letting them know they aren't alone, if they want to BE that unbridled childlike curiositor... whether through creating music or other art... or whatever the passionate area of interest. We can simply encourage everyone to open their own Wings... and soar! Free. Fly. Fly. Free. (Read the full blog under the "Wings" song blog on the music page at https://channeltherain.com )

Wings

Updated version 01/16/22. This track was created to invite parents to not perpetuate the claim to be able to protect or save our kids from hurtful or harmful things; but, to simply promise to be there to love them through the discomfort, hurt, and pain. We cannot protect our loved ones from life lessons we come to this earthly realm to learn. But, we can love and support one another through the lessons. I/We'd lost a nephew who was more our son at the age of nine years old; and, the pain of the loss of a child never goes away. Even though loved ones who "leave this realm" are out of our sight, we can still feel them as they remain in our heart. We can honor the life of our soul and theirs by remembering them, sharing our stories, keeping and sharing the love and lessons they gave us during their lifetime... alive.

We create music using a fusion of genres, primarily using Logic Pro X and updated versions, our MIDI Controller Keyboard, as well as live world instruments, (mostly percussion,) often blending musical styles or influences from our world traveling days… whether our singer/songwriter material with lyrics… or our meditative/emotive instrumentals. We also prefer to produce most of our music in 432Hz range frequency, not 440Hz, which is known for disharmonization, (feel free to search "studies of the affects/effects of music/frequencies/sound on cells…" and “dive into” that “rabbit hole” as deeply as you wish, lol.)

Manipulating others and trying to force YOUR goals for THEIR lives upon them is NOT healthy, as evidenced by the way the US sanctioned "education" systems have largely failed to teach facts versus: maligned and fake history, medicine and pharmacology claiming it was or had been anything close to resembling "health care;" sciences in general (especially with regard to neurological, chemical, and biological agents and weaponry under the guise and supposition of war...) while mass farming, the medical and pharmaceutical industries, and protective agencies funded with US taxpayer dollars have used and continue to use those same "findings" or "developments" or "discoveries" and "agents or compounds..." on their own soldiers, their own civilian general populations... and with Covid 19... now, the world's population... as the greatest measure of "controlling the masses." This by increasing judgment against those who've dared and actively chosen to more extensively read and engage in thousands and hundreds of thousands of conversations with everyday folks, as well as those within the aforementioned agencies and entities who've dared to speak the truths about what they've done, learned, and KNOW from within them. These are folks who dare to speak up for what's true and right... despite some of them becoming flagged to be strip-searched every single time they fly, by government agencies and entities who (despite planting the public ideology of them being "conspiracy theorists," rather than the whistle-blowers,) KNOW these people HAVE evidence and continue to travel the world sharing it with those who are open-minded, open-hearted enough to listen to FACTS beyond the brainwashing and limited mindsets of the majority who'd rather "remain asleep" or hold ourselves accountable for our own complacency, complicit-ness, in perpetuating these toxic agendas and behaviors... rather than treating them as the domestic terrorism crimes they are. If these things have persisted, perhaps it's time to listen to why they are still slapping us in the face, rather than burying our heads... believing everything those "in charge" would have us believe. Even Christianity is founded on archaic, patriarchal, control which let out over 100 tablets/books... because it didn't "suit their agenda." It's how generations were conned into building churches and funding their idolic maintenance, when Jesus allegedly said "give up everything and follow me..." (whilst loving a prostitute... oh ye "Christians" who judge "certain occupations...") and attended a Jewish temple. Yet, many of us were conned into worshiping a caucasian Jesus... as if He were born in Bethlehem Pa, rather than in the Middle East! It's time we read more and listen and turn off sanctioned "news" sources and sanctioned only education and resources... and dig a little deeper for truths.
