This collective of mystical musicians delivers a magically modern tribal jazz experience. An abstract original band with powerful conscious vibrations not limited to one genre. Vibrating frequencies of open hearts, the release of shame and the uprising of this new world. 

With influences from Florence and The Machine, Portishead and Yaima. Synergised are often described as Jefferson Airplane meets Kate Bush. 

Each musician holds their own immense necessity within this collaboration.

We have recently finished our tour opening for the epicly talented Mobius Loop! Headlined at Love Jam Winter Solstice and have been offered a place at a few festivals this summer. Manchester based composer and recordist. Lo-fi. Folk. Psych. Songs. Unusually long neck for a man my height...

Influences drawn from just about everywhere (though favourites include the album Forever Changes and anything written by Kurt Vonnegut). The common unifying threads are a twin lust for imagination and storytelling.

BIO (Third person):
Currently working on his fourth album; a double, potentially triple album… Granfalloon continues the work of his third album, Positive Songs, to focus more on traditional songwriting, and not quite traditional storytelling, to chisel out small, beautiful moments. It showcases this non-traditional storytelling with subject matter like... the meta-narrative approach to the dangers to you and the relationships around you that writing can have, expressing love through mathematical formulae, and 8 year old girls catching bees in Tupperware boxes, all with a heavy dose of Richard Lomax’s absurdism.

Manish has travelled the vortexes of the world sharing ecstatic dance ceremonies, creating in Ibiza, London, Tulum, Goa, Costa Rica, Peru and Bali. 

You definitely feel these influences in the mix, from shamanic bass, mantras and organic downtempo to tribal House, all of the vibrations will make your body move. 

His music production is in the deep, progressive spectrum of house and downtempo with a large dosage of shamanic groovy drums, heavy bass lines, and a pinch of asian instrument influences.

Atmospheric folk with soaring vocals, soulful impassioned lyrics, and a penchant for strange chords set to self-made time signatures. 

Snowapple is a pluridisciplinary and international artists’ collective that values new encounters, collaborations and artistic experiments. We believe that art is everywhere and that it has no rules other than the ones we want to give it. Our projects include Snowapple, a music group appearing in various formations, the theater troupe Moon Cabaret, Jardin Rouge Festival, Casa Snowapple Mx artist residency, the art film A Moonless Night and many more.

We seek to create daring, experimental and contemporary art, which nevertheless speaks to a wide audience; accessible to all, without prejudice of age, culture or origin. Furthermore, we are fighting for art rooted in reality and society; committed to current social issues, raising questions and initiating debate. Snowapple stands for openness of discussion and reflection and believes in a never-ending exploration of thought and awareness.

We have a strong do-it-yourself mentality and the urge to create freely and to bring art to society. We often create our own events to perform at and, in addition to theaters and festivals, we often perform on the streets, because we think art should be open. We create art based on collaborations, inspirations and a strong sense of community.

Snowapple’s music has been played on BBC Radio 1 and the group made several appearances on international television (Canal11, Imagen Noticias, TV Azteca and Canal22). Moon Cabaret’s theater play, Mr. Moon, has been staged at Edinburgh Festival Fringe (UK), Festival OFF d’Avignon (FR), Festival Cervantino (MX), Festival d’Aurillac (FR). Snowapple’s short music film, La Llorona, won prizes such as the Audience Award for the Havana Film Festival and the Mexican Women in Film Special Selection at Shorts Mexico- International Short Film Festival Mexico.
