Creepy crawlers turning white

Rules of nature undefined 

Nowhere left to run and hide
Normal guides can’t be applied
Roads all twisted to and fro
But leading to the caves below 
Quantum shifts and prism bends 
Imagination only lends 
More weight to approaching fear 
That moth winged demons can appear 

Blacked out moons and darker lanes 
Hard pulse crashing through the veins 
Spectrum edging small black holes
Failing limbs and sticky soles 
Sliding through the poisoned leaves 
Shadows tugging at the sleeves
Whispers landing up side down 
Earthly senses start to drown
