Aiven, a global provider of managed cloud data infrastructure and managed open-source data technologies, like PostgreSQL, Kafka and OpenSearch, on all major clouds, has raised $210 million in its Series D at a pre-money valuation of $3B.

Following on from the company’s last year’s initiatives, which included the creation of a formal Open Source Program Office and the launch of Aiven’s startup program, Cluster, Aiven is committed to democratizing access to best-of-breed data technologies. By doing so, the company claims to help reduce the environmental impact of cloud services, while increasing diversity and inclusion at Aiven and in the tech industry at large.
