With no recorded date of birth Cheek-O Dread was born to a duck and a stainless steel spanner, perhaps you can understand why he has a chip on his shoulder.

This forever changed his life and drove him to music, but the deep tumult inside him manifested itself sporadically by causing his hands to heat up uncontrollably and warp his vinyl at the occasional gig leaving a trail of chaos and melted wax in his wake; other DJs “dreaded” playing with him and drove his motivation to move from the land of his birth; he chose to roam the earth like Kung Fu’s Cain from the Middle East, to Europe, to the US, to Asia and across Africa, eventually learning to control his warring emotions enough to get through a night with the only sign of destruction being the blood on the dance floor. Thank God for the digital age, without the need to be in control at all times, his inner beast was unleashed, making his sets at wherever he played simply legendary.

Why not share this phenomenon with the unsuspecting public? He DID! Having played on every continent (save for Australia) wasn’t enough for him so in early 2010 he began to create hour long podcasts of mix sets he deemed worthy of his name and listeners’ ear, and publishing them on Podomatic, Soundcloud, Electecmix, iTunes Store and Mixcrate garnering him an even wider international audience {if you haven’t heard of him, you certainly would hear of him now}. There was nowhere with an internet connection you could safely hide.

In the meantime he continues his roaming his ways, playing his house sets and producing & remixing the same wherever he lays his head only to move onto the next gig down the road.

Born and raised on the south side of Chicago in the Roseland area, Introduced to hip hop at a very young age. My brother was 6 years older so I would always steal his tapes and listen to them over and over. His collection ranged from Spice 1, NWA and 2pac, to Twista, UGK and Biggie. I think this is what inspires the variety in my production style. I began writing lyrics in about 5th grade and would mirror what I heard on the late night mixes on 106 Jams. I remember covering old cassette tapes with tape so that I could record all the “B side” songs (sometimes I’d get so caught up in the songs that I’d forget to stop recording and record into the commercials).
At about 18 I started recording my friends trying to rap in my mom’s basement using instrumentals. I’d follow an artist’s or producer’s discography and take notice to how their style progressed, or how their signature style became noticeable. It wasn’t until 21 that I took production very serious. I’d been working with Da Internz doing promotional work for local artist and used this time to continue learning about the way the industry works. A friend of mine gave me a demo copy of FL Studio 4.
I couldnt save anything, so I just used it to get better and better for about a year. I invested in myself and bought the actual copy. By this time I’d learn a lot about about arranging and song patterns, so I started making about three or four beats a day thinking I was making heat lol! I began swapping drum kits and using MIDI inputs and progressing my sound. Over time I learned how to use what I learned from studying hip hop songs, listening to mixes and staying updated on music to know what people liked to hear. This is what inspires my sound
I just refuse to stay contained in a box. Ive made sure I remained disciplined in all other facets of life as well. College educated, devoted father, God fearing, addicted to my craft…

DOUG JOHNSON

While Doug may be best recognised as original keyboardist for multi-platinum selling Canadian rock band Loverboy (Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees), he is also a composer and arranger of rare scope and accomplishment. He holds a classical piano degree (ARCT) and silver medal status from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto and is a graduate of the Film Music Institute of Los Angeles.

Doug's soundtrack work is featured on TV series You, Me and the Kids, The Shopping Bags, Six Degrees of TV and Native Planet (currently in production), films Chained Heat and Dominant Gene and documentaries Life and Times - The Molson Story, The Forgotten Holocaust, and Leo Award nominee Sitting on a Story. His song writing highlights include City of Surrey's official Olympic song From My Home, BC Summer Games official song When You Dream, along with the musical theatre productions  A Time to Remember - Song of the Sicamous.

BRUCE COUGHLAN

Bruce Coughlan is a touring artist with a 35-year career as a singer/song writer and is founding member of recording Roots/Celtic/Americana artists Tiller's Folly. He has 12 independent albums and many awards to his credit, including Best Song at the 2012 Independent Music Awards for Tiller's Folly's - Death and Taxes.

Bruce has received several commissions to pen commemorative songs, among them The Ghost of Simon Fraser (BC Coast and Mountain Tourism), Robbie McBeath (Village of Kinlochbervie, Scotland), Friendly Harbours (Port of Vancouver) 23 Camels and The Ghost of Kitty O'Rielly (Heritage BC).

Bruce's compositions have been featured on TV Series The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, West Coast Escapes and The Aviators, the film I Me Wed, and title song and soundtrack for the documentary Cross Canada Century Flight. Bruce is a multi-instrumentalist and has worked at different times as jingle singer, music coordinator, actor, consultant & character voice over.

Bruce's songs have been recorded by a number of artists in all genres, including Kelly Brock, Sam Bush, Cia Cherryholmes, John Cowan, Hank Cramer, Sean Hogan, Tom May, Valdy and Wendy Waldman.


My name is Rainbow Dash and I'm the Greatest flier to Ever come out of Cloudsdale, and the Fastest flier in All of Equestria! As a filly I went to the Junior Speedster Academy with my Ex best friend, Gilda the Griffon. My dream is to some day become a part of the best Stunt Flying Team in ALL of Equestria, The WONDERBOLTS!! It would just be me, Spitfire (The Captain) and Soarin', the male on the Wonderbolts. I just know it would be So. Totally. AWESOME!! My best friends in the entire world are Twilight Sparkle (The Egghead unicorn and Princess Celestia's Favorite and Most Faithful student), Pinkie Pie (The hyperactive pink Earth Pony that Loves to bake), Rarity (the Fashion model and designer), Applejack (The Hick, my Rival, and my Secret lover), and Fluttershy (The shy, soft-spoken cream colored Pegasus that i grew up with in Cloudsdale). Together, we Make up the Elements of Harmony! I am the Element of Loyalty, Applejack is the Element of Honesty, Twilight is the Element of Magic, Pinkie Pie is Laughter, Rarity is Generosity (somehow), and Fluttershy is the Element of Kindness. Together, we helped save Princess Celestia and all of Equestria from a life without the Sun when Princess Luna became corrupt and Turned into the Wicked mare of darkness, Nightmare Moon. I love to hang out with my friends, but there's Nothing I Love more than Flying. Feeling the Wind whip through my Spectrum colored mane just excites me so much. What do you Expect from the Fastest Flier in ALL of Equestria? Not to mention THE ONLY pony in Equestria to EVER pull off the Legendary "Sonic Rainboom"! And I even did it the first time when I was Just a Filly! The second time I did it, it was at the Best Young Flyers competition in Cloudsdale. Twilight had given Rarity these magical Fairy wings, but they burned out in the Sun's heat and she started falling down to earth! The Wonderbolts tried to save her, But she kicked around so hard that she Accidentally knocked them out! SO using my INCREDIBLE speed I raced straight down Faster and Faster, until BOOM! My second Sonic Rainboom! And I sped down and grabbed Rarity and The Wonderbolts and looped around the Coltiseum and then brought them back to safety! I won First Place in the competition, too! And the Grand Prize was an Entire Day hanging out with The Wonderbolts!! I STILL can't Believe it really happened!! Not only am I the fastest flier in Equestria, But I'm also the Iron Pony! Applejack will tell you otherwise, but that's just 'Cause she's Jealous. Anyway, Yeah. That's Basically my Life!
