growing up listening to darksynth legends like Carpenter Brut or Dance With The Dead, i've always wanted to produce kinda synth metal cyberpunk (ish?) tracks just like this, with a focus on rich melodic hooks and catchy choruses juxtaposed with the darker horrorsynth and outrun elements sprinkled throughout. this track is in many ways my love letter to my inspirations!

MODE DEMISE tells the story of a character who exists in an extremely dark, dying world. In this world, the red sun rises every day, and a bloody rain pours from the sky. At night, you can see the icy moon in the sky, plunging the world into deep cold. This was always the case until "Eurydice, the Mother of All Churches" disappeared immediately after the birth of the child. The child disappeared with her, after which the flame of the church, which protects people from frosts at night, and bloody creatures descending from the sun during the day, was desecrated.

I wanted to release some music over the summer while I continue working on my next full album. With this in mind I have a couple of EP's planned to explore some new ideas.

Pressure Point is the first of these ideas: a 4 track instrumental EP largely based around the ARP 2600 synthesizer. You can hear that synth (along with a few analog friends) on all 4 songs, ranging from thick basses and running arpeggios to multi-tracked chords. 

Pressure Point is now available on all streaming services and Bandcamp. 

If you're interested in vinyl, a re-pressing of one of my previous albums, Smile for the Camera, is available on Bandcamp as well. Feathers' vinyl run is still in production and should be available in the coming months!
