Ukraine Nights

Another composition recorded before the war. I hope one day I will return to my home studio. Any support from you is much appreciated on these extremely hard times for our country, our family. 
I could have recorded much new music for the last 9 months... unless russians came to our yard to "save" us with their tanks, missiles, bombs and war planes at 4 a.m. on Feb 24th. And yes, they saved us from our house, from our normal life, from our dreams and plans. They saved my elderly parents from their home and peaceful life in retiring, saved my daughter from happy childhood, from school, from her friends and vacation by the sea. We'll never forget and never forgive it! I'm sure that russia will get what it deserves - each rocket they launch on Ukraine will turn to another 10 years of disaster for their cowardly people.

lost, embodying a luminous deep-sea creature,
whimpering so softly, my distinctive feature.

Tears layering the glooming woods, discovering hail
chanting a long-live-the-king, unravelling a see-through veil

underneath, a whisper of secret hope, lock the box
Pandora’s collecting silver linings like a stone collector rocks.

An altar made of gems, hidden under the damp cloth,
a lockkeeper, guarding a misty relics’ broth.

Wishes are spilled, the creature wails
that time of the year, the king hails

A calm melodic track made to help promote sleep, and meditation.  This is all part of a project Im putting together, with the theme being Water.

The Deep End

At the time of the birth of jazz, the role of the guitar was primarily as a rhythm instrument. I enjoyed this recording while remembering the lives of the great guitar players of the time, wondering what it would be like if we translated that atmosphere into a modern style. I am extremely grateful to Vocalatti and Mark Dorricot for agreeing to release this collaboration.

This time, I focused on playing the rhythm guitar, which is modest but has a strong presence.This recording does not include my solo guitar parts.

However, I believe that this wonderful work was clearly written for those seeking an introduction to the blues.So, while listening to this recording, let's play the chord progression shown here = D7/G7/ along with the song. A three-finger arpeggio would also work. I think that alone will make you feel a little strange. That's exactly the entrance to the blues. The more perfect this basic recording is, the more we want to play it on the D7/G7/. The D7 and G7 positions I recommend are in the link below.
 I would like you to listen to this track and get an idea of the sound of the "D7 and G7" chords added to the original sound source. Also, learn how to trace the scale when using the "D7 and G7" chords.
First of all, "D7" = "D", so in the Western musical scale, Bm/D pentatonic comes to mind as a scale that can be used there. .
And one more thing: using "D7" directly leads to the use of the blues scale. When the chord is "D7", it is natural to try playing Dm/F pentatonic.

My dear Dad was always with me when I was a child, but now we've been apart for over 2 years due to the war. My parents' home exists only in my memory. I wish all the children in Ukraine whose fathers have to defend the country peace and reunion of their families.
