dumb and naive?
:humility and being humble.
from experience, curiosity, remaining hopeful to the point of delusion and several psychological public breakdowns chalked down and devalued to being a personal failure and mental heath issue, an obsessive need to understand the world and minds around me inevitably leading to heartbreak mainly stemmed from my trust being used against me
it baffles even me how i am still genuine, hopeful and full of unconditional love for even those who hurt me to the point of changing how safe i feel in the world.
maybe its due to the love ive created and built for myself and how i feel about myself when I think of if ive done enough or tried my best
which required me mourning, forgiving, and taking responsibility for the parts of myself i developed from survival or trauma
ive worked to become the person worthy of my own love and genuinely be proud of my ability to learn and understand.
for my best ideas to come from quiet reflection and feeling in tune to my truth
which makes me believe in magic knowing i started
crying alone, unloved, and forgotten
wanting to be anyone else
and rebuilding
day by day
thought by thought
giving endless chances leading to every devastating disappointment eventually killing my trust in others
to quietly accepting that I will 
never know what I did wrong to get abused by people who promised to protect me
taking my desperate lack and overwhelming need of being loved and being known
and weaponizing it knowing my unfamiliarity with the real thing.
leaving my only comfort remaining
to be thankful for being alive
and my reason to continue and be the love im dreaming of, even if just for myself
is knowing
i never betrayed my heart, even as it broke.
