What began as a seed, watching his siblings play the piano, blossomed into performances in Canada, US, Belgium, and Ghana.   
Cato was nominated for a Gospel Music Award in 2008 and received the Elm-Bedford prize for up-and-coming jazz musician from York University, Toronto that same year. Since completing his music studies in Canada, Cato has branched out from his jazz roots and has performed with international DJs at large open-air events such as the F1 Belgian Grand Prix.   
Cato has shared the stage with artist such as Guiddo Basso, DJ Dave Lambert, DJ Dimitri Wouters, Sem Thomasson, and Reygel to name a few.   
Now, specializing energetic performances Cato has established himself as a well-known figure within the Toronto and Flanders private events scene.   
With his unique style and personal approach to music performance, Cato strives to share his gift with as many audiences as possible.

Singer/SongwriterDiana Braithwaite and Chris Whiteley are a powerhouse duo whose music exudes the
9meless charm of blues and jazz while weaving in elements of folk, gospel, and roots music.
Their harmonious partnership on and off the stage as garnered them cri9cal acclaim and a
dedicated fan base across the globe.
Diana Braithwaite is an award winning interna9onally renowned blues and jazz vocalist and
writer who most recently won the 2018 Life Time Achievement Blues With A Feeling Award-
Canada’s Na9onal Maple Blues Awards.
Chris Whiteley was born in Kansas and came to Canada as a youth where he came to be one of
the top musicians in the country. A mul9-instrumentalist and nine-9me Maple Blues Award
Winner for Best Horn Player of the Year, Whiteley is also a recipient of Jazz Report Magazine’s
Album of the Year Award.
Diana Braithwaite and Chris Whiteley have been recognized with numerous awards and
nomina9ons throughout their illustrious careers.
Their crowd-pleasing shows range from entertaining acous9c blues duo concerts with country
blues, originals, folk blues and delta blues with slide guitar.
Well known and loved blues classics, to up-tempo blues rocking band shows with 12 bar
danceable blues, featuring electric guitar, with the addi9on of bass, drums and piano.
