A lone piano melody sways like a rusty swing creaking in the wind, its notes hollow and aching with the absence of laughter. The violin drifts in like a ghost, its harmonics trembling with the echoes of children’s voices long gone. Field recordings of a distant playground—fading shouts, the squeak-squeak of chains—blur into vinyl crackle, while gusts of wind sweep through the mix like a hand brushing away dust. This track is the sound of abandonment, where joy once thrived but now lingers as a phantom limb, aching to be remembered.
