Feurza Records wants to hit the music world as hard as we can with amazing music by amazing DJs/producers. Our goal is to promote DJs/producers that have amazing talent but have very little followers. We want to get these talented producers big in the music world. We promote electronic music such as Dubstep(any variation of it as well) , House, Electronic House, Drum and Bass, Electro, Moombahcore, Glitch Hop Remixes, Refixes, and anything else that we like. Afrosonics - a fusion of guitars, drums, percussion, keyboards, electronic soundscapes, vocals, dance and chants. With African and American rhythms, the music incorporates eclectic sounds and the root of each member intermingles to create something both classic and unique. 

Dayo Ayodele hails from the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria. Community building and music are his passion. As the group leader, he helps with the musical arrangements, production and is a multi-percussionist and songwriter. He honors his culture by singing and dancing to African inspired songs.

Todd Dunnigan, an Idaho native, is a multi-faceted keyboardist, vocalist and record producer, and has worked in nearly every area of the music business, and Co-leads Afrosonics. He started playing professionally at 15 in his hometown of Boise, Idaho. He played and toured with a variety of acts, including Smokey Robinson, The Moody Blues, Boz Skaggs, Gary US Bonds. Dunnigan has produced hundreds of albums for every type of artist from punk to polka lending a diverse palette to every creation.

Cathima Kodet- a Multi-percussionist started drumming and dancing very young. A native of Congo Brazzaville and former refugee from Gabon, he arrived in Boise in 2010 with a powerful energy and African cool in his music and dance.

Jacob Fredrickson’s career includes a range of Boise-based bands: Indie and punk, jazz and funk, he’s dedicated to adding a fullness and groove to every project. He’s performed with: Revolt Revolt, Obscured by the Sun, Ghost Tours, Dan Had It, Moulder, and other various gigs. Sonic wizardry and tasty grooves grace his work. 

Elvice Mwenematale originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo then a refugee camp in Tanzania, Elvice began singing cultural songs from an early age. With a traditional sound and contagious joy for music- delivered his first on-stage performance in 2013, followed by events and gigs with Afrosonics and Treefort. He sings originals from around the world in Swahili, French, English and Kibembe, African Zouk.

James Lancaster is a Guitarist/Singer originally from San Francisco, California. He has performed and recorded in numerous projects all over the US and owned Gemini Studios since 1985. He thrives on new projects and collaborations and specializes in writing both for himself and for others with over 100 Film, video and Television credits. As a member of Afrosonics, he lends vocal vibes and is a tour de force on strings instruments. 

Misty Dawn Taylor an Idaho girl and life-long harmonizer, she discovered music theater and studied vocal performance at BSU. As a former Miss Idaho, took her platform The Power of Music, to the Miss America stage on national TV. She has been a local radio morning show personality on both The River and Kiss FM. She offers unique interpretations of lyrics to Afrosonics. 

Ben Wieland is a Boise drummer bringing the magic and heat to powerful bands over the years. He’s toured the country multiple times in different bands, including a nine-day national tour opening for Built to Spill. His drumming can be heard on the Jumping Sharks records Dreams of the Dying, Light of the Living, Keep the Fountain, RevoltRevolt's Wild Unraveling, and The Weary Times' yet-to-be-released material. Drumming since 2006, he definitely rocks some funky beats in Afrosonics.

Taggart Lewis performs with the Moody Jews, Serenata Orchestra and Treasure Valley Concert Band. He holds BA of music in music education from Boise State University and taught elementary school music and now teaches clarinet full time in Idaho, travelling and building excitement for clarinet and live music, classical and pop. He brings these influences to build clarinet and saxophone into the Afro Indie flavor of Afrosonics.

AFROSONICS performs at the Treefort Music Fest, Northwest Folk Life, The Festival at Sandpoint, World Village, Alive After Five, Knitting Factory and more, highlighting the rich tapestry of world culture through the magic of music.

The Get Right Band is a psychedelic indie rock group committed to relentlessly following their muses to honest self-expression, to whatever excites them and pushes them into unexplored territory, to capturing some version of truth. American Songwriter writes that the Asheville, NC based group, “filters 60’s/70’s psychedelia and 90’s alternative rock through a modern lens–as if Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Nirvana co-wrote an album produced by Danger Mouse and Dan Auerbach.”
 
The Get Right Band formed in 2011, built around the musical brotherhood that guitarist/singer/songwriter Silas Durocher and bassist Jesse Gentry have formed playing music together since middle school. Durocher, who is a trained composer and has been commissioned to write for symphonies and chamber groups, has guitar chops that can soothe or rage, with a charismatic swagger as frontman and singer. Gentry’s virtuosic bass playing “catapults from elastic to nasty” (The Mountain Xpress). Completing the team is drummer extraordinaire, Jaze Uries, who is also a singer, songwriter, producer, photographer, and DJ. Over the years, GRB has defined their sound through constant evolution, building to the hook-driven, synth-heavy pop/rock/psych band they are today. The Huffington Post writes, "their songs are infectious and take you immediately to a place. The lyrics are smart and bear weight." 
 
The Get Right Band has shared the stage with Dr. Dog, Everclear, Cracker, UB40, Rusted Root, Smash Mouth, and Lifehouse; been featured on NPR’s World Cafe, Paste Studio, and WTF with Marc Maron; and performed at major venues and festivals including The Fillmore, Brooklyn Bowl, Theatre of the Living Arts, The Orange Peel, FloydFest, Bristol Rhythm & Roots, and Riverbend Fest. They have released four studio albums and a live album, and their latest LP, iTopia, dropped on April 7, 2023. 

The Get Right Band has been compared to other modern indie rock bands with a psychedelic bent such as The Black Keys, My Morning Jacket, Gorillaz, Tame Impala, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and MGMT.

Song Challenge3:                                                                                      Each week each participent must Write, Record, and Post a song based on at least one of the three Root Genre options and at least one of the 6 Sub Genres options for that week listed below.  These are meant to be fairly soft requiements meant more to force us to study different Music styles and what makes them unique then to be a strict rule that forces us to conform to there structures.  Most important rule is to have fun and make music.  I will make a Soundcloud page for posting purposes.  In your post list your genres and feel free to explain there use if you feel like it.  Note: These genres are based on Allmusic.com's break down of Root Music genres and Sub Genres there of.  You can refer to Allmusic to begin delving deeper into some of these genres listed below.

Phoebe Legere starred and wrote music for Toxic Avenger; and wrote, scored and starred in the French movie Marquis De Slime where she played a female wrestler with superpowers who attempts to rescue the world from the Marquis de Slime, an Evil A and R man from the 18th Century. Phoebe Legere wrote "Hello Mrs. President!"  a musical about about the first American President of color - She won a NYSCA award for her musical, “Queen of New England,” about the Massachusetts Native American holocaust and her ancestor, a spiritual and military Wampanoag Chief named Queen Weetamoo who, with her brother in law King Philip, challenged the Puritan establishment of Massachusetts. In April 2011 Phoebe Legere wowed audiences at Lincoln Center when she sang a blues mass in Latin scored for 80 pieces. Her Oh La La Quintet garnered rave reviews this year in a 6 month sold out run on Broadway at the Iridium Jazz Club. In June she appeared at Resorts International in Atlantic City. Phoebe Legere recently returned from Europe where she starred in TV shows and played festivals for thousands. In August the versatile, multi-lingual virtuoso starred in Lance Tait’s newest film,  Diapason,  in Paris, France.  Phoebe Legere makes and designs her own sets and costumes, and though her unique personal style has been imitated by many mass market American stars, her music remains an inimitable blend of elegant technique and populist joy.  Legere speaks 5 languages including Mandarin Chinese. She is a student of Asian art and has been deeply influenced by Oriental aesthetics and philosophy. The Ladybirds masterfully balance a mean juggling act. The Louisville, KY-based five-piece -Jaxon Swain, Max Balliet, Anthony Fossaluzza, Brett Holsclaw, and Sarah Teeple, articulately summons greasy garage rock and lush Spector pop sans kitsch or tribute act fluff. Their main influences are the years 1954 to 1973, when it was just about fun and swingin’ grooves, not the droll, heavy-handed, over-serious approach to songwriting oft employed in the contemporary American underground.

The Ladybirds first took root when Jaxon and Sarah met in Bloomington, Ind. over their affinity for classic R & B and shared memories of the slice of Americana known as riding around in a car with AM oldies blasting. They relocated to Louisville for a new scene, and incorporated their friend Max into the fold. While originally conceived as a throwback girl group a la The Shangri-Las, the band quickly adopted a more traditional structure, with Teeple as the siren who easily bosses the boys around. Their 2007 debut, Whiskey & Wine, was well received in the region, and saw the group sharing the stage with the likes of Wanda Jackson, Dex Romweber Duo, Heavy Trash, The Greenhornes, and many more. Appropos to the classic rock and roll archetype, the band cycled through many drummers before welcoming Brett Holsclaw (Paul K & The Weathermen) as permanent skin hitter – establishing the band’s best lineup for their strongest effort, Shimmy Shimmy Dang.

The Ladybirds’ sophomore album, as demonstrated in the title, is truth in advertising. Flavors of surf, rockabilly, doo wop, and dusty retro bubblegum pop all take a front seat. Yet, as Jaxon explains “we’re all punk rockers in the end.” And that’s what separates The Ladybirds from a simple nostalgia offering – modern and original twists on familiar sounds, influence by the genres the band describes as “rock at its most authentic.” Written and recorded over the course of two years, Shimmy Shimmy Dang offers a full-band songwriting effort, incorporating many different aesthetics while holding true to their singular vision, the sound of rock and roll’s original and primary directive. With renewed interest in such timeless sounds via Third Man Records and Goner’s gritty, balmy punk tour de force, The Ladybirds are poised to become a pivotal name in reviving what we lost in rock music, replete with the glean and shimmer of the modern age.

The Riverside-based MC earned his stripes as one of the most lyrically-gifted, socially conscious, and politically charged rappers to emerge in the last 20 years. 

Originally born in Nairobi, Kenya, CON_ONE, has compiled his life experiences and knowledge and molded them into a beautiful representation of conscious lyricism. After two years of compiling ground breaking music, CON-ONE feels as if his time has finally come. Over the years he has notebly worked with names such as producer Ethan "Wade Hoggs" Hogbin, and Writer/Singer/Producer Darrin "Dahliam" Williams. CON_ONE is definitely a force to be reckoned with, and has become a voice for the voiceless.
