I AM BACK. I have crawled back from the depths of hell's colon to the apex of its butt-cheek.

P1/E (Schäumer, Hacke, Hirsch, Droste, Franke with guest vocalist Voburka) were an early 80s outfit and one of the first bands to release an indie single in their hometown  Berlin. „49 Second Romance“ was released in January 1980, followed by tracks on the Monogam Compilation and the 1981 „Licht & Schatten“ Album.

After the split Alex Hacke aka Borsig moved to Einstürzende Neubauten and Crime And The City Solution. But that deserves a soundcloud page of its own. Schäumer went to Tennis Boy Blues and made some tracks in the early Acid House stages in 1989.

„49 Second Romance“, still gets rereleases on compilations over and over again. The latest are the 2016 Powell Remix  on The Vinyl Factory or the 2015 Mark Reeder Reconstruction which was used in the B-Movie documentary about the Berlin scene in the 80s.

In 2020 P1/E are back, located in Aswan / Egypt and Berlin, to release new music.

The law of polarity is the principle that everything has two “poles”:  From good to bad, love to hate and attraction to disconnection. 
Everything in the universe has an opposite, everything is dual and that’s what allows us to experience life to the fullest and appreciate everything that’s good in the world.

Could you know happiness without sadness? Is there love without pain? Dark without light? 

The Valencrimes is a melodic indie rock act born out of the influences of guitar and synth based post rock, indie and electronic genres. They write songs that rock and pop with conceptual lyrics, driving bass, melodic guitars, grooving drums and catchy, memorable vocal melodies that linger everywhere along the line between the extremes of love and hate.

In 2020 The Valencrimes released 10 singles independently and are currently mixing new tracks set to be released this year.
