InVerso – Duo
ALESSIO ALBERGHINI – Soprano & Baritone saxes.
GARRISON FEWELL – Electric guitar,  Guitar, Prepared and Bowedguitar, slide, percussion.

InVerso is the latest project that  Alessio Alberghini created in collaboration with one of the greatest guitarists of all times,  Garrison Fewell.   A game of sound reflections which attract or distance each other.  Compositions that light up or put in the shadow elements which create concepts, emotions and feelings belonging  to the same shape, thought, life,  despite they are inverse.  Music where  the absence of a body is detected through  its shadow. “Ups” which blur with  “Downs”,  voids which circumscribe solids, black /white, noise/sound, nothing/all.

The InVerse of everything is its  complementary  and unexpected element. Our thoughts exist because we know their InVerse.  We can call things because we know their InVerse:  two polarities of the same concept without  exceptions to this logic.  

InVerso is  like moving towards the thought that represents  the equilibrium of our existence.

GALACTUS -  Trio

Galactus, the gigantic character of  Marvel comics,  wanders in the universe in search of planets to devour. Planets are his food.

 The Galactus Trio wanders likewise  in the world of sounds  in search of those they  like  better.  Sounds are  swallowed and  assimilated but not destroyed.  The Trio  assembles them  and gives  them  an  identity  which is  consistent with   the way of being of the band and its  concept of making music.

The music of Galactus Trio  is innovative, sometimes undisciplined, sometimes reflective, always in search of a balance between  composition and  improvisation,  desire of research and  pleasure to listen.  A  laboratory where  the timbres of the trombone, saxophones (baritone and soprano), flute and electric guitar mix,  creating new alchemies.  

After previous experiences in the  world  of music between jazz and rock, the Galactus Trio now proposes  original compositions mainly inspired by the super-heroes of Marvel comics  (Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Spider-Woman, the X-Men)    based on their adventures but above  all on their psychological  complexity and contradictions as  human beings and super-heroes.

Alessio Alberghini (saxes & flutes) and Tiziano Zanotti (double bass)  have always collaborated  (since their first project “Influences”) moving between  the two polarities of sounds in the classical style  and the avant-garde research.

In PSAICO BOP  the line-up becomes a trio, adding drummer Claudio Trotta.  The three musicians, although with different  backgrounds and  experiences,  are involved and contribute in  this creative process in search of new ways of expression in the immense universe of jazz music
