This here is a little ditty I wrote last year. I thought it sounded a bit cowpunk so I gave it the unimaginative name Cowpunk 24. I played around with sounds and ended up playing my acoustic electric through my Vox amp with maximum flanger. Yeeharrrr!

Many years ago I was in a bar out in the Mid West of the US and I fight broke out... It was weird coz it seemed like I was watching a real life film... lot of over weight 'chaps' swinging fists and kicking out like donkeys.  a very funny thing to behold. Anyway I wrote this track and am working on an album to go with it.  'The Buckled Wheel Inn'.

I Just Have to Be Still

Heavenly Father,

We come before You on this day with hearts full of gratitude for Your unending love and grace. You are our Creator, our Sustainer, and our Refuge. We thank You for the gift of a new day, filled with Your mercies that are new every morning.

Lord, we lift up this day to You, asking for Your guidance and wisdom. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in Your truth and reflect Your love in all we do. Grant us strength to face any challenges, peace to rest in Your presence, and joy to share with those around us.

We pray for those in need today—those who are hurting, sick, or grieving. May Your comfort surround them, and may they feel Your nearness. We ask for Your provision for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, and hope for the weary. Use us, Lord, as vessels of Your compassion and grace.

On this October day, we also pray for unity in Your Church and peace in our world. May Your love break down barriers, heal divisions, and bring reconciliation where there is conflict. Guide our leaders, communities, and families to seek Your will above all.

We offer this prayer in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer.
