Thee Comet Allotment: The greatest improvisational drug-pop group of all time.

Righteous, visionary, humble and operating only for a self-imposed 10-month period in 2006, Thee Comet Allotment were a 100,000% focused hydra-headed psychedelic travelling musical unit of mythical proportions.

Ranging from anywhere between two and six members at a time, they formed around a shared belief in experimental living. In their 10 month lifetime they each learned multiple musical instruments from scratch and partook in the the kind of sustained experimental drug use that only true kings have the stamina for.

Initial recording sessions in their small workshop soon expanded into full-on improvisational field recording events as the band focused on visiting the finest natural spaces of Fife and filling them with beautiful sounds, ugly yelping and hunners of dope smoke.

From the psychedelic childlike daydreams of the Live In Windygates EP, through the long- form mantras of Who Made The Rice & Sappy Journey, to the dense & environmentally concerned Sunsplash single/dvd/boxset, Thee Comet Allotment never settled for anything less than white-hot unconsciously holy mung-pop.

The single most relentlessly creative band in the history of Scotland, they made full percussion sets from shingle and driftwood, fashioned strange discordant wind instruments from broken rifles, manipulated mini-digeridoos into bizarre mouth drums.

Through song, they invented and documented a whole mythology around their drug-induced vision of Sundh, a giant mammoth man who served as the band's muse and they improvised many hymns to him.
Later they recorded a full album about how one of their members was the newest son of God, entitled "I'm The New Jesus In Town".
 
But through all this, they never strayed from their crystal clear utopian musical vision and the simple joys of traditional drug-pop, which the band may have actually invented.

We are a group of real up-and-comers who just want to write a couple songs about dads, boats, bees, ants, memory loss, the sea, turtles, moms, bad parenting, urgent care technicians, underwear, vital signs, poker matches, headaches, songs, itchy noses, places you've never been to before, the old days, death, love, sandwiches, hope, bats, bugs, bears, bunkers, bands, berries, carpet, sweat, hard wood floors, phones, hand sanitizer, shampoo bottles that only have 2 squirts left which might be an indicator that it's time to go to the store and pick up a new one, but you still wait until the time where you squeeze it and nothing comes out and now you don't have time to get your hair washed but you have to go to work and you're afraid you'll be greasier than normal but you don't really care because it's just a part-time job to get you through college, eggs, milk, candles, surfboards, peanut butter, Bengal tigers, lamps, penicls, elephants, mulberries, keyboards, heartache, rats, tshirts, fish tanks, pets, cups of water, aloe vera, fans, cars, grills, cereal, parties, socks, melodicas, open ended conversations about buffalo vs. bison, number of starfish under you at any given time while on a boat over the pacific ocean, the letter X, too many cats in a house, Oranges, Stanley Bostich, mechanical pencils, shades of symbolism, literary criticism, computer programming, decoding the human genome, whether wearing socks help prevent colds (they don't),  making money, reading about dinosaurs, Zen Buddhism, rubber bands, hair clips, aroma diffusers, vintage electronics, multiple bees, an absurd amount of bees, and many many, and I really stress this, many more. 

Yaboy Shay-Witty has a sound that transcends regions and territory.

Founded in 1997, the Boston-based Walden Chamber Players has garnered a reputation for being one of the most exciting and versatile chamber groups performing today. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Paige Bryan is a natural born performer, singer and songwriter. Drawn to music from a very early age, Bryan recalls growing up attending her father’s 70’s Soul Music Festivals and bearing witness to such iconic acts as Chaka Khan, Earth, Wind & Fire, and The Isley Brothers. It was watching these great acts and the way they connected to and enraptured their audiences that led to this singer/songwriter’s belief that, “Music should be felt, not just heard.” Experiences such as these ignited a desire and passion in Bryan for music, and inspired her to pursue a career in the music.

Paiges’ first album, released in 2010 titled Imperfect Me, was co-written by Paige and producer/songwriter Chaka “The Chakfather” Blackmon. The album is a contemporary mélange of R&B/soul/funk and showcases Bryan's vocal and writing abilities. Her song “Here I Am” received award-winning recognition in the 2011 U.S.A. Songwriting Competition. In 2012, she released an EP, Pieces of Me, which she co-wrote with producer Swoop Brown.

Throughout her career, Bryan has shared the stage with some of today’s most notable artists. Her most notable television appearance was her family's reality series Sinbad: It’s Just Family. Paige has performed at numerous venues in the US, Europe, Middle East and Japan. One of the highlights of her career has been performing for our military troops at various bases around the world. 
Over the past year, Paige collaborated with singer/songwriter/producer Manwell Reyes of Dove award winning group Group 1 Crew and producers Austin Brown and Brian London. Paige says, “I feel this new music is the closest I’ve come to expressing who I am as an artist through my craft.” She co-wrote her latest single on iTunes "London Bridges," and new songs from her latest project. "You Gon Learn" and "Intentions" are just a few examples that will give you a glimpse into what you can expect to come from Paige in the future. Paige also created an entertainment podcast, Keepin’ It PC, hosted on Soundcloud. 

Viewing her talents as a gift and calling, Bryan is driven by the hope that sharing the truths of her own life experiences through music will inspire and encourage others in the same manner music has inspired and encouraged her. Ah, yes, only in America can a pre-med student, bred on hip-hop music, wind up spinning on the 1’s and 2’s for—of all things—a country music superstar from Australia! You can’t script such a wild scenario, but it’s true. DJ DEBONAIR is the young man who was entrusted to get audiences hyped to see and hear the legendary Keith Urban in action during his 2007/09 world tour. And DEBONAIR delivered exactly what Urban had in mind: Bring a wide range of music –not just country – to Keith Urban’s legion of faithful followers. 

DEBONAIR is no stranger to getting a party started. While attending high school in his native Ft. Lauderdale, DEBONAIR was privy to an FM radio station at a nearby high school where Deejay K-N-S invited him to co-host the popular “Bump Show.” Upon enrolling at Florida State University, DEBONAIR parlayed radio shows on both “The World of Hip-Hop” on FAMU's WAMF-FM Tallahassee, and “The Underground Railroad” on Florida State University's WVFS-FM into “must-tune-in” opportunities in the city of Tallahassee. 

From 1999 to 2000, he held three titles simultaneously at WVHT-FM Tallahassee as an on-air personality, music director, and mix show director boasting the highest Arbitron ratings for the market in his timeslot. After graduating from F.S.U. in 2000, and armed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology, DEBONAIR realized his passions lay not in medicine, but in music. A move to Los Angeles later in 2001 prompted a shift to promotion and marketing, where he worked for several major record labels and established airwave presence for numerous artists including Snoop Dogg, Lil’ Jon, and Naughty By Nature. In 2003, DEBONAIR created Flawless P & M, a successful promotion and marketing company that helped break new music for 50 Cent, Jaheim, Eminem, D12, Timbaland, Common, Field Mob, Lloyd and Rich Boy. In addition, DEBONAIR also wore another hat, that of producer and musician (saxophone and bass), creating tracks for Mario, Brian McKnight, Trina, Trey Songz and Mistah F.A.B. 

DEBONAIR kept his turntable chops up spinning in Los Angeles hot spots and at Stevie Wonder-owned KJLH-FM’s “Saturday Night Mixdown,” where he became one of the city’s most respected DJs. His high-energy approach and uncanny sense to read a crowd grabbed the attention of Urban’s management team, who approached DEBONAIR in early 2007 to join Urban’s worldwide tour. The combination of Keith Urban and DJ Debonair fit like a hand in glove. “It was Keith’s idea to have a DJ open for him and warm up the crowd,” DEBONAIR says. “Keith likes a wide variety of music, not strictly country, so he lets me play pretty much whatever I feel: Bruce Springsteen, Black Eyed Peas, Prince, John Mellencamp, AC/DC, 50 Cent, Michael Jackson and Led Zeppelin. The best thing is that everyone loves the open-format mixes. I get inspiration seeing thousands bobbing to my beats. Touring the world with Keith Urban justifies my belief that music is the force that unifies everybody. I’m proud to be a part of a major act that brings that point home nightly.” While working on Keith Urban’s incredibly successful world tour, DEBONAIR also had the honor of opening for superstars Carrie Underwood, Gary Allan, John Rich and his crew, The Muzik Mafia.

Ever the entrepreneur, DEBONAIR co-created the world’s first online DJ School, TurntableU, in 2009 along with DJ Icy Ice of the "World Famous Beat Junkies & KPWR Power 106 FM Los Angeles." Turntable University is the first DJ school on the world-wide web to give students direct access to high quality tutorials, taught by the most respected names in turntablism, and presented in high-definition utilizing cutting edge videography and graphics. Later in 2010, after the passing of mix show promotion legend, friend and mentor Ricky Leigh, DEBONAIR, along with the help of friends Rory McAlister, Jimmy Jamz, Kevin James, and Charles Dixon, resurrected the DJ Vatican Conference Call©.
