Throughout history, brokered peace treaties never seem to last. In fact, most historians believe that between 1500 BC & 850 AD, there were an estimated 1,500 peace agreements between nations. On average, each lasted no more than 2 years. As Believers, we know that there is only one peace agreement that has & will continue to withstand the test of time. What makes church buildings so special? Is it a special place where God dwells? Is it a place where the Holy Spirit meets believers every Sunday? The answer is, the church is just a building. There is nothing particularly special about it.
