It's like people don't understand you sometimes you know? The language is getting smaller and smaller, the meaning of words is changing before our very eyes and ears, there is less and less room for metaphor for "big" words for "big" thoughts. You are the most important people in the world to us and that isn't an exaggeration! 
Our family & friends locally knew us before and most will never listen to this track unless we play it out live somewhere for our captive audience. LOL. You chose to listen to this and read the description. To think that a mother, father and son from the woods of New England can make music that is tolerable, listenable and sometimes even likeable world over .. how cool is that?

Cellphone Guy

Another track from the "To Sleep in a Sea of Stars" project. Falconi is the irascible captain of the Wallfish. I thought James Purefoy should be cast as this character!
The guitar is a Duesenberg Paloma with jet fuzz distortion, pitch vibrato, reverse delay and a growler filter. I noticed that the amp was picking up my heartbeat through the guitar so I recorded it twice and alternated it through the left and right channels (that's at the start and middle). I'm a nerd. 
My mate felt the the closing guitar should be brought forward a little, I think he was right so I took the opportunity to remaster. I've also added a stereo enhancer to widen the field. I'm much happier!

The Chef is a tribute to my wonderful friend John-Marc Ventimiglia.  A gifted musician, artist, chef extraordinaire, food coneseur...one of the most creative and intelligent people you will ever meet.

This is a first for Daniels & Durgy. An indulgent bit of fun we had in composing and performing this melodramatic Halloween themed extravaganza. To make it even better we have two of our best friends, Todd & Mike, joining in for the instrumental bridge near the end, something you won’t want to miss!
