TRIVIUM -The Darkness Of My Mind (COVER)

If you keep up to date, you'll probably have noticed that my account turned a little funny some time ago.
Well, past the decoded stuff, I was teasing this song.

Anyhow! This was a track that was in progress a little bit back. Likely, this very early drafts of this song were in December 2019 or January 2020. It went untouched as I lost a lot of my motivation thanks to a certain matter (see Be Mine's description).

Originally, it was going to have vocals, but honestly? It sounds better without any, it's just one of those songs. I wasn't going to force vocals into a song that simply didn't need any.

My friend Jack asked me to make him a Cyberpunk / Synthwave song for his birthday. Whilst this doesn't really fit either of those genres, I still think it's one that he'd enjoy. So, all in all, happy birthday Jack! I pulled out all the stops to get this song ready for your birthday, and I hope you enjoy it.

I have another song scheduled for release at some point this month perhaps? Depends on when I can get it done.

This song comes from the perspective of someone dealing with depression.
They describe their depression as a shackle that chains them to the ground.
They yearn to be free of their shackles, and refer to this by wanting to "fly away".

This is a slight edit of my submission to the Deltarune Krismas Mod V2: (www.reddit.com/r/Deltarune/comme…d_v2_is_now_here/) - Unfortunately, I can't change what was added to the mod since I'm out of contact with the team, but the old song is still there if you fight the Chaos King. There is a really annoying filter on that old song which completely ruins it. This is more of a generalised version of my remix, without the crappy filter and without the sleigh bells.

Hopefully it captured the intense yet melancholy sides of the song.
