Once upon a time in a town called Leydford, a plague and famine there did strike
But a man named Captain Rallart, the defender of Leydford, ensured the folk there would survive

He was stern, but he was fair, ensured each got their share, and to crime never turned a blind eye
He was bold, and was brave, cut the hands of thieving knaves, and he kept the town's hopes well alive

But for the humble folk of Leydford and our man Captain Rallart, plague and famine woudln't be the end of their troubles.

Captain William Rallart upon his guardpost he stood, as the Aariland sun set one night
And from forth the shadows deep and the gloom of the forest crept nefarious bandits to fight
The Captain drew his blade and gathered his men, to the battle he nae shirked away
Though a hundred to one the odds stacked against him, he charged headlong into the fray

Up high he raised his sword, said lads protect the Lord, and alone faced the rogues on the field
He did hack and he did slash, he carved a bloody path, and though he did fall would not yield

And though the bandits lay defeated, the Captain was mortally wounded.  And the greatest threat to Leydford yet remained...from within....

In a lonesome darkened tavern, our Captain lay dying, from death but a hair's breadth away
And upon the tavern door rapped the evil Sargent Marrick with a pack of traitors at his bay
Yet a cunning clever huntsman stole into the tavern and whisked the Captain to safety
But it wouldn't be enough, as the traitors still found them and carried him into the Keep

With our Captain on his back, the turncoat sprung his trap, and on death's door our hero betrayed
Despite the townfolk's plea, it was the Sargent's mutiny, and the people were forced to obey

There within the Keep, Marrick prepared to complete his murderous betrayal, but our noble Captain wasn't done quite yet...

In the Keep stood Sargent Marrick in a circle of blood made of tyrants, betrayers and thieves
The traitor Sargent Marrick, so confident and boastful that his plan was so sure to succeed
Yet Captain William Rallart rose up to his feet and extended his blade to the foe
His will remained unbroken and the Captain pushed forward and swore that he'd lay the man low

Despite the Captain's wounds and pain, he cleaved Marrick in twain, and Leydford was free from their fear
With a shout and with a yell, Marrick was sent to hell, and all of the people did cheer - hey
