Jumping onto the Brisbane scene in late 2013 The Con and The Liar’s bluesy, gritty, hook laden sound has found the sweet spot between Royal Blood and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

Recent single ‘Sick Seedy’ is the fast paced, red lipped woman of their repertoire that kisses your neck then slaps your face and is the perfect precursor to their forthcoming sophomore EP ‘Biting’, due out later this year.

Offering a three-pronged blues-rock musical attack, TCATL negotiate punchy revved up percussion, howlin’ vocals and bossy, driving guitar hooks; delivering sonic knock-out blows and diabolical demands to shake your hips.

2016 will see The Con and The Liar pack up their live set to introduce their specific brand of old fashioned, blues-infused rock’n’roll to our brothers down south on their first East Coast Tour, release their follow up EP to 2014’s full length ‘Deserters’ and much more sweaty, dancehall ferocity.

Introducing Pocketlove a Brisbane based band who have been tearing the house down with their mix of Bombastic rhythms, Searing guitars, Angelic horns and Anthemic party lyrics.

Pocketlove are the pyromaniacs responsible for rekindling . the raging fire of live funky music that has swept through- out Brisbane these last 5 years. Their residencies at hot spots such as The Press Club, The Brookland Standard and the prestigious mega club Cloudland, have dragged people from their couches to wearing out dance floors and their
vocal cords wherever Pocketlove are playing.

Over the last 5 years years Pocketlove have secured amaz- ing opportunities such as rocking the main stage alongside major acts Tower of Power, Empire of the Sun and
Eskimo Joe at the 2011 Caloundra Music Festival and in 2012 playing the main stage of the Noosa Food and Wine Festival supporting Anthony Callea.

2013 proved to be just as fruitful with their original song song 'Till the love is gone' being played by ex member Luke Kennedy on the national prime time television series the voice and topping at number 4 on the Australian iTunes Charts.

In 2014 PocketLove have ignited the main stage of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers festival and will release their latest studio single to coincide with their debut performance’s of the stages of the illustrious Woodford Folk Festival.

With their the fresh sound of new lead singer Sharon Brookes at the helm of this nuclear fusion of rock pop and funk; Pocketlove will be electrifying and intensifying audiences everywhere.
