Next in the series we focus on one of the rising stars of the Italian scene, Rebecca Delle Piane. With her musical style defined by the 90's sound but with her attention to create gripping tension throughout the tracks, this got quickly noted by artists as Modullar, Ben Sims and Bas Mooy. Now she started her own label Night Garden, with a first EP that combines the deep but peak-time approach.
The next hour, she displays exactly that and it's certain you will see her play all over Europe very soon.

Joton is an essential figure in the Spanish underground electronic scene, having spent over two decades dignifying his profession as a DJ and producer, crafting unconventional sounds that have inspired artists worldwide. Working out of his studio in León, Joton has developed his own style of techno, infused with a classic sensibility that has resonated with fans across the globe. As the founder of Newrhythmic Recs, Joton has supported national and international artists for over twenty years.

As a tireless and prolific creator, Joton has had his work published on prestigious labels such as Fabric, Modularz, Quartz, Odd Even, Symbolism, Planet Rhythm, Raw Raw, Dynamic Reflection, and Skryptöm. His tracks have been played by renowned artists including Ben Klock, DVS1, Rødhåd, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Surgeon, Truncate or Go Hiyama.

In 2015, Joton released his debut album, «Casting Out Nines,» a work that received critical acclaim and established Joton as a force to be reckoned with in the techno world. The album was presented in ten countries across three continents, cementing Joton’s status as an international DJ and producer. In 2017, Joton returned to his roots with «R3silient,» an album that explored his purest and most analog side.

In 2018, Joton continued his prolific output with two new works, «Antioquia» on German label ODD EVEN and «Extreme Measures» on RAW RAW. In addition to his DJ and production work, Joton is also a respected educator, offering interactive production courses that help aspiring producers refine their techniques and develop their sound. His latest album, «Hikikomori,» released in 2021, was born from these courses and is a collaborative work that speaks to the experience of isolation during the pandemic.

Over the years, Joton has played at some of the world’s most iconic clubs, including Tresor in Berlin, REX in Paris, Corsica Studios in London, Grelle Forelle in Vienna, Propaganda in Moscow, Domunne in Tokyo, Vault Sessions in Amsterdam, Razzmatazz and Moog in Barcelona, Gare in Porto, Infra in Boston, Drugstore in Belgrade, Under Club in Buenos Aires, Espacio 93 in Santiago, Stardust and Fabrik in Madrid and Sound Department Italy, among others. Joton’s enduring legacy as a producer and DJ has had a profound impact on the techno scene both in Spain and around the world.

For FRAKCAST 009 we invite a duo based in Colombia, Alma Discontinua. Consisting of Disociativo and Berxet. The duo is focused on interconnecting two opposing yet complementary energies. As creators of the EXIDE platform, they have managed to structure and define their frequency sound by intertwining experimental, hypnotic, dynamic, and energetic rhythms that create a unique sets both for dancing on the floor and connecting with every detail in their musical productions. The duo is also putting in alot of effort to bring their ideas to life, which slowly emerge, like their first EP on the Despair Scape Records label, supported and mixed by artists such as Richie Hawtin, Taakaki Itoh, and Lindsey Herbert.

This duo from Colombia is one to keep an eye on!
