I've had a bit of fun reimagining EK as a glamorous American city from yesteryear 'cause as everyone knows, when you're young and in love anywhere can feel like Hollywood. Originally from Kent in south east England, Phil has spent the majority of his life in Surrey, and in rural Herefordshire in the west of the UK. A creator and collector of artworks and music since school and college days, Phil focused on a career in business and technology until 2021, when he decided to spend more time exploring and expressing his ideas through digital art and music.

"When I draw, paint, or record music, I am not trying to capture a physical likeness or a structured song. I'm not sure if I could. Sometimes, often, at the end, there is hardly anything there. My aim is simply to trigger a thought, or a question, inviting each viewer or listener to fill in the many gaps in their own way. I hope that anyone who sees my work will see a different picture, or hear a different song, and will imagine a different story, full of their own experiences, desires, fears, colours, smells, sounds... whatever their mind, and life, can create. To that extent, the harder work rests with the viewer and listener."
