VENON is an LA-based DJ and Producer ready to kick you in the teeth with pure bass recklessness. VENON started his musical path at the age of 12 playing in Metal and Hardcore bands that eventually led him into the production world. Drawing influences from both electronic and metal, VENON continues to deliver heavy melodies with soul crushing basses, also bringing high intensity shows with lots of energy. One venue at a time, VENON will conquer his way into your thoughts and tongues and have no intention of letting up.

Unified Cortex Recordings

Unified Cortex is a new international bassmusic collective launched in 2016. Our goal is to create strong bass music productions by combining artists. It is a unity where everyone can grow and develop their styles. 

Our aim is to release a lot of different styles of bassmusic and push its boundaries besides creating heavy bangers or your usual anthems. We want to innovate! 

Next to our record label we will be setting up parties where it's all about the right vibes and being in the moment. From deep, hypnotic music to teeth grinding madness. 

We stand for a wide spectrum of bassmusic and high contrast in styles!

How do you get to be fat and ugly? Locking yourself in a room with a computer and a brain full of ideas for fourteen years is a good start...
 
Cutting his teeth back in the day with some new jack swing and hip hop, the Berlin based producer decided to put on the pounds and make people pull faces with his electro music project Fat and Ugly in 2008. Soon after he caught the attention of scene heavyweights Zombie Nation, Kissy Sellout and Paul Chambers. Sugar buzz created by the calorie-rich DJ’s tracks earned him heavy rotation on international radio stations and gigs across Europe. His last EP, Elephant Attack, stomped around the Juno Top 20 electro house charts for several weeks and was praised by house legend Tonka as being a “killer package”. Not to mention the attention his Interplay remix has garnered since Wolfgang Gartner made a habit of opening his sets with it.
 
And if you think all this cholesterol shortens your life-expectancy, think again: Recent and remixes on labels like Ultra Records or Teenage Riot Records are all pretty good signs that Fat and Ugly has a long and healthy road ahead.

Alltogether, I present to you something we Croatians would say "that even the dog would not eat with butter". You can find neoclassical tunes here, heavy experimental rock, electronic songs, ambiental songs and more.

Boothe or DJ Boothe(boothemusico ltd.) FKA DJ Decibel and Subliminal:

An accomplished DJ, musician, composer and producer spanning over 20 years that came out of retirement to make a heavy impact on the southeast breaks and trance scenes. Boothe came to the Charlotte area 23 years ago where he fell in love with breaks, after rocking hard trance in clubs in east Georgia, Florida and throughout South Carolina.  Boothe started his music history as a piano player at the age of 7.  Boothe was more widely known about 16 years ago as Subliminal.  He has held residencies at numerous venues such as Eleven50, Quartz (Atlanta GA), Bedlam (Pensacola FL), Boomers and Coconuts (Augusta, GA). Boothe prefers to mix high-energy, up-tempo breaks mixed with floor pounding progressive uplifting trance that fuel a dance floor. Seldom will you hear Boothe drop below 132 bpm.  Boothe currently works out of his self-outfitted full-service production studio, BootheStudios in the Charlotte, NC area.

Pascal Hetzel has been a steady presence in Berlin's large electronic music community. He emerged with a strong focus on long, free-flowing hardware jam sessions that traverse the whole spectrum of electronic dance music, from dark, industrial-tinged techno to classic Motor City electro and Italo disco-appreciating euphoria. In addition to his work as one half of CYRK, Pascal Hetzel continues to make a name for himself as a solo artist. His sound is
deeply influenced by Detroit techno's rich legacy. His first release on Juan Atkins' groundbreaking Metroplex label,
which came out in June 2025, marks another milestone in his career. It's his first solo release since his EP on
another Detroit-based label: Interdimensional Transmissions' sub-label Eye Teeth, and his solo album on
the Belgian label Arkham Audio. Early next year, he will also release an EP on Marco Bailey's label Materia, further expanding his footprint in the global techno landscape. Rest assured, there is more to come — both with CYRK
and as a solo artist.

Fusing futuristic sound design and underground rave production with massive riffs, heavy guitars and rebellious vocals, FireFarm have been cutting their teeth at festivals and parties across the UK and internationally with their award nominated live show for the last decade.

Taking on various different formats in this time they have come to settle on a team comprising of founder and producer Alex McDougall, co-pilot and guitarist Stewart Colley, all fronted by the feisty and unique vocals of performing and songwriting veteran Laura Jenkins.

With influences from Rave, Rock, Dance, Psychedelic, Punk and great music in general the FireFarm set will take you on a voyage through a kaleidoscope of styles all tied together by crazy arrangements and a thoughtful narrative. 

After a long journey and years in the studio refining their sound and message, the band are hitting the road harder than ever in anticipation of the release of their debut album “Rave Against The Machine" in 2019.

Elephant Tree are a relatively new band who, after cutting their teeth in the London metal scene, have established a place within the current growing Stoner Metal genre. Having moved down and taken in many many gigs and shows the guys have been influenced to start making their own music. Linking up with heavy riff veteran Pete in early January and Riley 'Sitar Wizard' MacIntyre soon after, things are snowballing quickly with more songs in the pipelines. 
While the style is difficult to class under any one particular sub-genre of Metal it has been most likened to Doom Metal and Stoner Rock however many people have their own classifications ranging from Blues to Prog.
Recording in the summer for their first EP, the guys have been hard at work playing gigs over the south of England with a mini tour of the North of England in the works.

The first EP offering came in the form of Theia. After being signed by Magnetic Eye Records the album was released via BandCamp and iTunes digitally in September with the hard copies set to follow shortly after.
