In the Christian world to which we belong, the Advent season has begun and there has even been a bit of snow in some places, just like in our city. The Christmas season is perhaps also a good time to say thank you. We were lucky enough to grow up in families who looked after us and did everything they could to make us happy. Unfortunately, that's not always the case. Sometimes you only remember to say thank you when someone falls seriously ill or dies and you realize what that person has done for you. One day it may be too late to say thank you- nobody lives forever. This song is a big thank you to our parents and families. In this sense, it is also our contribution to the Christmas season, even if it is not a real Christmas song. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas time, including of course those who do not belong to the Christian world.

During an odyssey I recently undertook, I discovered this snippet of text in the Museum of Literature in Dublin. It’s from "Ulysses" (1923) by James Joyce (1882-1941) and I liked it immediately. The passage comes from the episode "Cyclops", in which the novel's hero, Bloom, opposes division and prejudice.

The picture shows the very first printing of the first edition of the book, exhibited in a display case on the third floor of the museum.

It wasn´t easy to be a child since they mistreated were and the parents could do nothing to help
and especially young girls were subjected to the consequence and horror of slavery

The little girl has got a feeling that the paradise now has come cause she can only see warmhearted friends.
She love to go to her school and learned writing very fast and her parents are so proud for their daughter
