I started my life in music Mc,ing over Grime & Bassline when I was around 13-14 , I've performed at numerous events in and around Leeds, including - Mint , Obsession , 2funky , Casa Locos , Rios , Cloud9 & many more ! Over the past 3years I turned my attention to Dj,ing slowly learning myself the in and outs mixing Organs , house , UK bass and 4x4 bassline bringing out my monthly mixes the most popular being my Pick & Mix series , things will be getting bigger and better from me watch this space .

Leeds based DJ Lee Wright AKA Wrighty, Started his DJ career 22 years ago at the age of 18. He started off as a bedroom DJ playing old school UK garage and Speed Garage. As the scene up North started to move over to Organ house and Bassline so did Lee. A few promo mixes later he found himself playing many clubs that were big at the time including Mission, Warehouse, Stinkys Peephouse, Mint Club, Mint Warehouse, Syn, Evolution, Rosies Bar,  Bar Home, Mamyle and Beever Works, for the massive brand  Sleepin Is Cheatin who hold the huge event known as Insomnifest.  He made a name for himself quickly around Leeds getting bookings on a regular basis. Very much into House, Garage, Speed Garage, Electro House, Jackin, Bass, Deep House and all things with a great beat. You can normally catch Lee DJing with his partner in crime DJ Walshy who he has DJ`d with for over 15 years. This has become quite a partnership and very often get booked together just because of the way the bounce from each other’s vibe.
Lee has also had many appearances on lots of radio stations including Frequency FM, Funkies Radio and BassStream Radio. Lee became part of the BassStream family 3 years ago and still enjoys regular slots on the shows on various nights.

THE ORIGINAL BASSLINE HOUSE RECORD LABEL!

Sheffield has always been the heart of the scene. Whilst the country turned its back on Speed Garage at the turn of the nineties there were certain underground hotspots that refused to let it die. Along with Birmingham and certain suburbs of the capital, the Steel City was representing week in week out for those who still loved their dance music infused with that little more bass. 

With this came the need to take the speed garage scene forward by pioneering new producers, making fresh bass loops with big vocal drops over a house beat so Reflectiv and Bassline House where born!

Reflectiv had been rinsing it week in week out for aeons. When people turned their noses up at it, We still packed the clubs out, when magazines stopped reviewing the tunes, We were still delivering them to energetic floors. It's down to pioneers like us who kept the flame burning for the bassline hungry clubbers. 

Run by the city's longstanding Reflex Records, We always had an inside view on what the city had been purchasing, what's making their feet move, which is why we always retained such a fervent support even when others had thought the sound had disappeared.

The most original entertainment at every Reflectiv show that separates imitation is founder Martin Leverton, the charismatic front for the Sheffield scene and the owner of the Reflex brand. The scene's figurehead, his super smooth mixing combines with microphone patter to create an unstoppable party vibe. This insider knowledge guarantees a complete level of up-to-date musical knowledge, which when coupled with an archaic sense of history for the scene means he can effortlessly slip from upfront promos to good time classics.

Exclusively alongside Leverton each event is Dj Stu-E most commonly known for his outstanding commitment to reflectiv over the years. Stu-E has had a variety of labels and brands in the scene. Reflectiv fans are familiar with Stu-E taking the wheels of steel at the later part of the night where the Bassline gets serious with a little scratching thrown in for good measure.

And of course the reflectiv prodigy, Jamie Ferguson! homegrown from the original glory days you can be sure this brings a knowledge of Bassline truly unique.

Reflectiv has always showcased the finest in talent, both MCs, DJs and a stunning set of live PAs, that shows the scene in all its glory. Add to this an unrelenting door strategy to combat any signs of attitude, and it was one of the most enjoyable and heart warming clubbing experiences in the UK.

Due to the scene becoming more urban and darker in 2008 following a merge with the grime scene it became overwhelmed with problems and many big events were shut down with police and licensing executed a zero tolerance to the bassline scene despite reflectiv maintaining a standard in clientele, This combined with a saturation of producers turning over too much new material that lead to the quality of the Bassline scene jeopardised. So reflectiv ended its 8 year run as home of the Bassline.

Now years have passed and now the mighty reflectiv returns by public demand for those who prefer there dance music with a bit more back bone. You can expect the good time classics with tasteful new material and non of the non sense that caused basslines death. 

Now dawns the return of Bassline to be reborn and revamped.
